Scrapping in the Streets - Some For Everyone 

Poly, on the power chair if you look under the support for the seat, you will see pull pins that will release the seat. Then there are 4 to 6 screws or short bolts to remove that verses by model. This will drop the front plastics or fiberglass panel. You then can slide the batteries out, some have only one others have two. It's about a ten minutes to do the job. Hiya, Poly, to get the batteries out of the electric scooters/gophers you have to remove the seat first just by lifting it out, there nothing holding them in place just the seat pole, Cheers.

Another great video man. Can't believe the guys grabbing the fridge compressors, always seam to leave the cord and copper snippets. Not to mention how bad it is for the environment

with the scooter uce. the seat comes off. has a release pullie... and the battery is in the black cover and will be 2 batteries in it. the 2 motors that control the left wheel and right wheel are good metal scrap as well. :)

That electric cart you passed up you have to sit on to make it move. They are worth scrapping. They are normally between 600 and a 1000 pounds.

Hi, Pohly! Great haul with the extra stuff you took in! That is the biggest amount I have seen anyone get for their scrap!! Awesome!! 😎 You have to take the seat off the scooter to get the battery off the base. There is a lever underneath the seat. Push on it and turn the seat then lift it up. That leaver keeps the seat locked on until you do that. I have a scooter much like that one. Hope you took it!! Scooters can go for $500 on up used. New batteries may be all it needs!
