Gayle you win a gold medal for this project! I have the same dies and have used them for frames but I have never collaged before cutting them. This scrape busting idea was so great! Thanks for this idea! Have a gold sunshiny day!

Good Morning Gayle & Friends. These are fabulous! And I love the deckle edge dies. I put the washi on the back of my hand to de-stickify it a bit. Or on my yoga pant leg. The pressure of the sizzix just pounds the washi into the paper. Glad to hear the smoke is clearing. Hope you all have a blessed weekend!

The frames turned out great. They are the definition of junk journaling- converting things that might have been destined for the trash to be used as part of a journal. Thanks for the great idea. They will be so fun to use.

These are so wonderful! I have a cereal box I emptied this morning and set to the side to collage on. My granddaughter is helping with swimming events at our local Senior Games today. Have a Blessed day!

Mint tape works well for taping dies down. When you die cut it makes the papers almost glued down because of the pressure. I also have used the wall safe scotch tape.

Great recycling project 😊😊😊. With less smoke you'll be able to get out and enjoy some fresh air now. We have blowing sand sometimes and it looks like smoke but it definitely restricts any out door activities.🥴🥴🥴 Thx for sharing these great frames how-to.😊😊😊

I've started giving my food boxes a light sanding on the print/shiny side...items I glue-stick to it has popped off after the glue dries. These frames and cards are beautiful! What a nice addition to a journal they make.

Does the sanding keep the paper from lifting? I have that happen to my collages on cardboard a lot.

These are a great idea. I use my heat gun to help when I pull washi from paper. Doesn’t take but a second or two to loosen the glue. Or as someone suggested rub on hand or clothes to remove some sticky before putting washi on paper.

They look most excellent, Gayle. I've done something a little similar to create faux specimen slides. I die cut first, then covered with foil from chocolates (using double sided tape). Then a brush of vintage photo to add some age to the metallic look. So fun. ❤ Belinda xxx

Good morning! Love this idea!🥰 At least you used some scraps even though you couldn't tell from your tray!🤭 When you consider that you're using cereal boxes plus scraps it's a good use of them! Very cost effective!👍 Definitely still missing you later on for Ceri's Challenge!😢 I'm doing the kindle challenge, so I'm reading every day. Alas my hands are a bit painful with arthritis so holding actual books is difficult!😟 Project definitely a success!🎉 I use a sizzix brand of tape so it holds the dies but isn't as sticky as washi tape!👌 Have a good day!😁❤️

These are cute! I never thought of using a cereal box in a Sizzix machine. Talking about being related to famous people, I kbew a lady that her last name is Selleck. So, I had to ask her, and she is related to Tom Selleck. He is a favorite of mine and my husband.

If you choose a tape that fits the collage, it can be placed intentionally and left on there. Also, you can try sticking it to your clothes a few times first to take off some of the stick x
