Nice project; well planned! I like the idea of using plastic for this build, and you have done the construction well. Looking forward to the next installment! Thanks!

I know the filling, I am still a kid with my trains. Yes, he is fantastic. You did very well on this building.

Excellent video. Personally, I have no problem watching a long video that is interesting. I agree on using varnished (several coats) ply as a base for stability. Boomer use this technique (if you don't know him, I strongly suggest giving him a try, one of the best.)

Very nice job building a very representative model of the station. That's odd about the B&B material being off. I'll have to watch for that.

I may have just gotten a bad sheet. I was a bit shocked myself and I only caught it by accident.

Incredible as always. Do you put interiors in all of your buildings? I have come into a large lot of the old Suydam kits for short money. I love the corrugated tin. Some are matt board construction. Any pointers on using Matt board?

Generally, I add interiors only when the windows are large, numerous, or provide a clear sightline through the building. Regarding matt board, see my video "Scratchbuilding: Don't be Intimidated": I used matt board to build the elevator portion of that project. Building with matt board is just like building with wood: brace the back sides of your walls, and seal the completed building shell with a solvent-based primer to prevent warping when you paint with acrylics. Also, start with brand new blades, and pay attention to how well the blades are cutting - matt board, like all paper products, will dull your blades very quickly. Good luck!

What are those yellow jigs you use to make the corners square? I'd love to get a set of those.

These are Bachmann Square Corner Magnetic Clamps. They're pretty pricey - Amazon has them for about $48 for a set of four - but they are the best corner clamps I've found. Here is the link, but shop around: www.amazon.com/Bachmann-Industries-Magnetic-Clamps-Magnets/dp/B014X3MVRO They may be disappearing - MicroMark used to sell them, but they are out of stock. Kalmbach Hobby Store has them for 49.99.
