For those who don't know Perfect sounds gets you very poor rating/bad score. I've seen A LOT of people say this is how you should play it when they're in fact wrong. This isn't FNF.
Cream Cheese Icing is really good, if only it was a bit longer and had even more variety near the end. Nami Wav is amazing, the non robotic voice really sets the mood. Stir and Mix is popular, but it’s still a great song. The bubbly and upbeat style is great, the scratching goes perfectly with this song. Grease Poppin’ is a great ending to the demo. The chill funk with the piano, and the lyrics sticking with the burger theme. All in all, these songs are amazing.
I love every little thing this pulls from. From vocaloid voices, Vaporwave aesthetic, a mix of Parappa and Rhythm Heaven art styles with a dash of FnF in there for good measure.
@LlEUCU. BEAU× Man, If you follow the creator at all, you'll know that he did derive influence from FNF. But the fact that Scratchin' Melodii draws some influence from FNF doesn't detract from it at all. Its a salute in their direction, if anything. And they are both great games with their own merits.
This is so chaotic, imma just say, possibly they meant the art style, as the thick lineart makes it look slightly like fnf style, however this game is its own and shouldn't be associated with fnf 24/7
Its funny how nami has the most realistic sounding (and probably a real one) voice yet acts the most robotic and all the characters with vocaloids for their voices act the most humane Edit: I LOOK AWAY FOR 11 MONTHS AND COME BACK TO 10K LIKES?!1?1! you guys are crazy …crazy? I was crazy o Edit 2: okay yall I know the video is a demo and outdated n stuff but I think the reason Nami is the only one with a human voice actor is because it’s a little joke on how all the other characters have vocaloid or tts voices. It’s most likely just a small detail by the devs to hint at just how music based the world is or something idk Edit 3: I’m checking some of the replies and they’re not using vocaloid cus it’s a demo, they’re using vocaloid cus they want to use them. For something like an indie game, y’all must have high expectations to expect human voices 💀
honestly it would make more sense for nami to be the only vocaloid, since they dont have alot of lyrics in their song and is a literal robot im pretty sure, but at the same time voice acting takes money (even though stir and mix would be awesome with voice acting and not vocaloid, along with grease popping)
People saying they’re all vocaloid but not saying which ones. I do hear miku. Maybe big Al for Synthz? I’ll have a listen again, but also I haven’t listened to vocaloid in a while. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they only used a small amount since vocaloid can be expensive. It doesn’t sound like they used Gumi but she would’ve sounded nice for Jamtine’s part. Edit: I’m thinking Luka for Cinnabay and possibly Gakupo for Biggie Cheesecake. And perhaps they used Gakupo for Synthz too
I post this on twitter but scatchin melodii is the love child of parappa the rapper, warioware, and rhythm heaven. The game just oozes with charm and personality. And i heard that this game might spawn a small yet none toxic fanbase..also why do people keep comparing it to friday night funkin ?
@@amiano59e4 that is very sucks ngl, imagine pouring your hard work on project that inspired by your love for other rhythm game only for people to just point at fnf as the only comparison and making a joke out of it
Honestly, I'm more of a fan of Parappa's music, but this game still slaps, like the butter if you fail. (Edit: and parappa's comedy, like what the hell is going on in those games.)
This genuinely looks amazing and has so much potential. I really hope this becomes a full game. The only issues I see in this demo is that certain moments like after the butter stops dancing could use some transitions and in the final song, Melodii’s voice sounds really off when compared to the other 3. With that and a little polish, this is perfect!
I personally think the songs are the worst part of this. The main characters voice is sometimes kinda off? Like, off pitch? The songs are composed chaotically so it is very jarring. Sections of the songs transition horribly. Idk, it's like if the songs were created by a starter. The voices in general don't sound pleasing. I barely understand what they are saying. They aren't catchy either. I'd say the first song is the worst for sure.
@@miguelthekewlkid272 I get what you’re saying, but the reason you can’t understand what they’re saying is because they’re vocaloid, voiced by Japanese people that often have no experience in English,so it sounds a bit off
I know this game has nothing to do with fnf but it's such a breath of fresh air to see a game also inspired by Parappa keep that same style and charm, while doing its own thing with the idea and doing it well Also the songs are just honestly way better and sound like songs, unlike fnf's random chaotic noise
@@Bransaucesauce bruh that's from a mod- Now, talking about the base game, some examples of good songs are... every song in weeks 2 (except Monster, Lemon Demon songs kinda suck) 3, 4 and 7 Week 5 is mid ad And roses is pretty much the only song I truly enjoy about week 6
Everyone in this comment section loves Nami including me although in the beginning of grease poppin’ the little shuffle they do 4:30 is so frickin cute
Man i kinda miss these old versions, especially stir and mix, but yn cant complain too much the newer versions are good too! (Still gonna rock to the old versions tho lmao)
*YOU MIGHT BE GROOVIN' SMOOTH AND ALWAYS MOVIN' DONT THINK YOURE COOL 'TIL YA LAY THE DOWN THE GROOVES MAN TAKE A STEP BACK WHILE I PUMP UP THE METER WAKKA WAKKA CHOMP I GOT THE SCRATCH-MAN FEVER* **Terrified scream**
Just discovered this not 10 minutes ago, these are some sick songs. Game feels like parappa and rhythm heaven combined. Nami gives me ENA vibes harrddd.
Best part from each song (in my opinion): Cream Cheese Icing - 0:29 Nami.wav - 1:44 (tied with 2:26 tbh) Stir and Mix - 4:05 (duh) Grease Poppin' - 5:15
Nami is like the cool pretty and shy friend you doesn’t like talking or any physical attention, while the main character person is like the little hyper friend that always tags along and is just bouncy and loves talking Edit: literally you all need to shut your asses up in the replies it’s annoying af
Before I saw the other songs, I heard Nami's first, and I had this thought like, they made Nami sound much smoother and in-tune because Melodii is much younger and less experienced, and/or they're the synth human and everyone else is organic, I dunno. Either concept sounds so adorable, like watch all these nice people teach them how to sing x3. I now know it's moreso that Nami is the unique one in this aspect, but man that's still cute to think about.
I just wanna appreciate how Cinnabay’s buns are cinnamon buns and Biggie Cheesecake’s hair is a slice of cheesecake. The rest of the video’s awesome but like, that one little detail sets the whole thing for me.
O quizás sea una blanca, pero es que la negrita se suele representar con su cabeza llena, mientras que la blanca su cabeza es solo un contorno y está vacía
