Huskies are so funny. I’d never want to own one but I’m always happy when I get to see them at friends houses. They really are the theatre kids of the dog world.
I had a Siberian husky and when I used to brush him, I'd put all of that thick undercoat into a shoebox under one of my pine trees. The birds would come and take all of it for their nests. It was some serious nature recycling.
@@daa4309 One of my very good female friends had told me about it. She was all about nature. I put a bunch of his woolly undercoat in a shoebox and put it under one of my old pine trees. It attracted more birds than a chunk of seed-encrusted suet, lol. I agree about keeping the nest warm, it does the same for the dogs, right? ;-)
my grandparents had a husky chow lab and golden retriever mix and me and my grands would take the dog outside and all three of us would just pluck the shed fur out it was like picking berries but it was fur and off our dog and as we would pick the fur we would just drop it and let the wind take it
Wolves: *thousands of years of adaptation and evolution coming to form a apex predator capable of hunting in packs to take down large prey* Husky: SHE'S KILLING ME WITH AIR, HELP
Groomer: "Finally! A bit of peace and-" Tuka, apropos absolutely nothing: "And for the next song, I'll be covering Whitney Houston's take on the Dolly Parton classic 'I Will Always Love You'".
I love how Vanessa has all the gadgets and amenities that help make the grooming easier for her and more pleasant for the animal... happy hoodies, ear protection for herself, high end machines and brushes, net for her face, waterproof clothes and a walk in shower so she can be there with the animal... and it all looks so proper and neat... 😍
My haters throw rocks at me and IT hurts. I hope they don't throw The Rock at me because I like him as an actor. GAGAGAGAGA!!! I am funny!!! I am the funniest RU-vidr EVAH! Please agree, dear ali
I believe she specifically said she tells owners how their dog behaved, honestly, so maybe they can work on the behavior or at least not be caught off guard if she ever has to decline a dog.
All things considered, she seems like a sweetie. Peeping how she goes for these phony "bites" and then licks you. Clearly saying I HATE THIS but doesnt want to actually hurt you
So many huskies do this. Mine did this, she'd lick or just put her mouth on you but end up licking. She's like "I'll lick you to death if I have to. Please stop this torture you have put upon my Queen self"
And this is why I’d tip my groomers like a good 30% when my huge puppy was going in for her first several grooms bc wrestling a maniac dog is a big work out! Even though my girl (an 80 pound Bouvier) is much better now, it’s still a lot of work and my groomers are worth every penny and I appreciate them so much!
She’s always super calm and professional in the voice over. So hearing her tell the dog “you’re a pain in my ass” at the 3:37 was the best thing ever.😂
Huskies don't tend to bark like other dog breeds, but they are quite vocal with howling and “talking”. Huskies howl as their main form of communication thanks to their wolf ancestors. Howling is easier to detect in the distance than barking, making it easier to find each other...
I love watching you with the dogs because you are a genius at being firm and loving and positive with them. This beautiful husky hates what's going on but trusts you 100%. Or maybe 99%.
I was a groomer and the Huskies would crack me up. The more I laughed, the louder they got. It looked like it was snowing when I would blow them out with the blaster
Is the Equigroomer made out of wood? Is it easier to hold that way? I suppose that all the brushing and wiggling of the high velocity dryer hose could be hard on a person's hands and arms.
I love how she is so wriggly and loud, but still so non-aggressive. Even when she's angrily mouthing at her hands to tell her to 'stop immediately!' she's being gentle, slipping in a few kisses in between
They are the best. Once I was playing with mine he accidentally hit my nose with his head, it cracked and I bled. once he saw this he placed the ball we were playing with into my lap and laid by me while someone got me tissue.
LOL!! I hope he changed his mind! They are an absolute handful. Beautiful, yes, but one of the most high maintenance dogs you can have. But hey, if you like running ten miles a day and constantly vacuuming your house, get a husky ; )
Excellent! Too many people are attracted to the way a husky looks and don't actually have a flying clue how to properly care for them. If he is a very active person may I suggest a beagle?
They’re actually noise cancelling ear protection for when she’s using the high velocity dryer. She’ll have them on in other videos where she’s using that dryer.
I used to have two Huskies, and a Samberian (Husky/Sammy mix). Sometimes I miss their conversational skills. I'll keep this video handy for the times I'm missing their conversational skills and need something to snap me out of it. I have a new pack member, a German Shepherd. He's been with me a week today. With the aid of this video I just discovered he does Husky impersonations. He was behind me expressing concern over Tuka's distress during parts of this video, at times quoting her word for word.
You are a delightful young lady and I love your videos. I can’t imagine what it’s like trying to be fur free by the end of the day. Must be a nightmare getting rid of it all. Keep up the wonderful videos!
@@ameerayar1017 Deafness - noun; the condition of lacking the power of hearing or having impaired hearing. "the baby is at risk of being born with profound deafness" the state of being unwilling or unable to hear or pay attention to something.
@@bosskey7212 r/wooosh He said that because "So, you have chosen death" a common phrase said by many on the internet, jokingly. So, saying "deaf" instead of "death" would've been a nice play on words.
What a funny, sweet pupper!! I loved when the lil pugger jumped up to play! I don't think I could handle being a dog groomer (with allergies and all that) but, she sure makes it look FUN!!
New Neighbour: Oh god what is that, it sounds like something is dying?! Old Neighbour: either she's working on a cross between the bagpipes and theremin or there's another husky over there.
My German Shepherd sounds EXACTLY LIKE THIS when the groomer is with him. He sounds like he’s being tortured for information and to dime out the Boss. I feel so BAD for my groomer. Ugh!!!
SAME, my German Shepherd is basically a dark husky at this point. Barely barks but WHINES and SCREAMS all day! Like calm down little girl, im just picking up the mail, I will be back in 30 seconds
Husky was my dream dog but I’m slowly realizing how mistaken I was lol Edit: thx for the likes! I’m a pretty mellow person and also slightly allergy to dog fur. might have to pass for a schnauzer or somethings 😂
I have a 75% husky/3 other breeds. They need a LOT of walking/exercise. They _hate_ brushing or having their feet touched. Mine's a silent aberation, but expect howls/yelling. Basically, if you can't devote at least an hour a day to the dog, they will entertain themselves/destroy your place.
It's been about a year now since we had to put our husky down, and he was such a good dog (in the most stubborn of ways). For a husky, he was actually pretty mellow. And even he was a nut, when the mood struck him. When he got the zoomies, he would slam the back of the couch into the wall (he was big for a husky). He got a baby bunny one time when I was walking him: I couldn't get him to drop it so had to take him back home with the bunny still in his mouth. He was so proud of himself, and my dad had to wrestle it from him. They're such active, stubborn breeds too. Escape artists as well. We tried crating him, but that didn't last long. He would howl all night long, and one time when we went out, we came back and the crate was busted and Malaki was not in his crate. They're good dogs to have, but they have high prey drives, are extremely active, extremely stubborn, and very vocal dogs. Not just with grooming, but with anything they do or do not want to do.
They're great dogs, but you honestly have to have an extremely GOOD reason why you are going to provide the Husky the attention and extreme activity it needs.
Wow, what patience and endurance. The strength and agility you have. Look at how you deal with the absolute craziness. And the groomer was pretty good as well.
