In my woodworking shop I made a box fan with an used industrial fan and put HEPA filters that you use for home HVAC systems. It is the small particles that hurt your lungs. Smaller the micron size the better. Glad to see you showing a cheap way to cut down on particulate in the air for the screen printers. Slip an air filter between the screen and fan....screen takes out big particles and the air filter will catch the small fines. The easy to clean screen is a great pre-filter to extend life of the low Micron air filter. Lung diseases are rampant in the textile mills in Asia! All that dust dust on top of the gallons of ink....is also in your lungs!!!! The Print Life...awesome RU-vid channel!!!!!!
Sweet. I have a very similar set up and now my commute to work went from an hour and 15 minutes to 30 seconds :) Looking forward to more videos! GO PENS!!!
Hi Brad, thank you for the tour. I find your workshop very loveable. If your looking to sell the extra Screen print mounting I'll be willing to buy it from you, but if you'd love to keep it... All is well. I HAVE SUBSCRIBED...
Hi Brad, WOW, just WOW, that is the best Home Based screen printing shop I have seen on RU-vid, nice and clean, and well organized. Love watching your videos but you glanced over the washout booth and commented that would be in a nother video, but I can't find it. I am very much interested in your DIY washout booth, can you post some info and photos? Thanks
Do you, or have you, ever use the Discovery Lancer Aquatex waterbased ink? I'm thinking about changing the wb ink I use but can't find any reviews on Discovery Lancer products. Nice shop btw. I wish I kept mine that neat and tidy
I have used Aquatex, not too much and only on white garments, I haven't ventured into the waterbased inks,,, I don't get any requests for it... **** however if you wait 14 days from now 11/22/2017 and call Lancer (talk to Morgan) and ask about waterbased inks you will find your new ink! wink, wink!
thanks! Morgan has been helpful so far with my questions but trying to find an unbiased review. So far it's looking like I'm going to try it in the new year though.
for the most part, yea, I encourage them to come into the shop so the can see how things are done, feel samples and mock up art work real time. If they from "out of town" emails & facetime...
Standard Graphics hmm, wow. I️ don’t have my own shop, but a computer shop rents me their back room/storage. And it kinda bothers me that I️ meet my customers in the front of the computer shop because I️ don’t have much room in the back to sit and talk to the client. Did it bother you that they came to your house when you started out? Or you just didn’t care about that part as much? And thank you again for taking time to share your opinion and experience.
