Krakens so fun, invincibility is a can of worms but I'm glad they were able to capture the feel from Splatoon 1 well.

I should remind people that the argument of "Super Chump is so weak, just destroy the guys" is the exact same argument as "Tenta Missiles is so weak, just dodge the bullets"

The Super Chump was a little underwhelming at first, but I'm actually liking it so far. Forcing the other team to move out of their hiding spots, back away from mid, and spend time attacking the decoys instead of fighting your team/focusing on the objective is pretty useful. It temporarily controls an area and creates a diversion, which is a lot more valuable than people give it credit for.

"Welcome home cheater" has such spiteful, happy, chaotic energy in this context 😭🤣

The new special is called multi leurre in french, which translate to multi lure. And that's how you use it, the bomb arent the most important part of the special, its the fake super jumps that are important ! This special is good when you want to super jump safely in a zone or for your team to go in

Fun fact! There was an octo kraken in the original Splatoon game files! People found out when they started hacking playable octolings into lobbies!

I've seen some people calling the Super Chump "friends" because of all of the fake super jumps it creates It's absolutely hilarious and I need to see more people calling it that

I've been using the Super Chump as a diversion or a way of cover, and it was more effective on Anarchy modes Rainmaker and Clam Blitz (not so much on Tower Control or Splat Zones). Just a way to distract enemies before going in for the kill :D

I haven’t played the dlc but I love inkopolis’ design I love playing as the kraken and it is just… SO GOOD!

i think super chump is a genius name, it's supposed to sound like "super jump" because the missiles leave super jump markers where they're going to land. also WHY CAN'T CALLIE AND MARIE GIVE US THE NEWS D:

My favorite thing to do in inkopolis was go up to Callie and Marie and go to the balcony and jump off I thought it was so fun and I would literally do that for like 30 minutes.

It makes sense they didn't implement a new news sequence as it'd probably be a pretty big time sink (new intro sequence, animations, script, etc) when there are better and more vital things to focus on (balance changes, map changes, Big Run, the new Salmon Run mode, Side Order, etc). It's a bit of a disappointment but given how much time they had to make it I'm overall satisfied.

callie and marie dont do the news because they retired. it would be inconsistent with the lore if they did the news still, also deep cut does the news for everyone, it doesnt change depending on where you are. lore is important in this game 👍

ive been calling super chumps 'silly guys' / 'sillies' and honestly... i think it should be official

you want to go in with the super chump, it's pretty much useless as a missiles/tri strike replacement, but for fighting up close it can be a great advantage because of the distraction it provides, and that's emphasized by how it's deployable and launches super fast

I don't know what makes your videos so much funnier than anyone else's, but I love it so freaking much If I'm feeling down, I almost always go to your videos, and they always make me feel so much better. 10:19 actually, an octo kraken model did exist in splatoon 1's files. This led data miners to believe that octolings were going to be playble in splatoon 1 and that it just didn't happen for unknown reasons. There are a few other things in splatoon 1's files that shows that octolings could have been playable, like octoling models having fully functional eyes despite the goggles
