Maybe it's because it wasn't digital yet. That's why I hate digital cinematography, it seems like you're seeing a video game instead of a movie or series.
They even make fun of it in the show. One time, because of botox she went through a whole episode without moving her face. fake or not. it was still funny.
Whenever I rewatch this scene, I wonder... did Jordan think Perry was talking about *her* as the "unavailable woman" that he couldn't get over, or did she already suspect he was in love with someone else? She obviously finds out later but in that moment, he might as well have been talking about her because she's, in a way, unavailable to him too, just not in a "dating somebody else" way like Carla.
i wondered about that as well. but she probably knew perry would be more straightforward and blunt if he was talking about her so it probably didn't cross her mind that this unavailable woman was her. plus she did care about him back then, so i think she would have been more interested in what he was saying if she thought she was the subject. but i might be wrong and it's actually more interesting if there was an unexplained misunderstanding between them in this scene
Aqua Eyes Every single time I watch the early seasons and then 6-8 it just kills me. Seems the most beautiful folks wreck themselves with plastic surgery.
@@MrCrackerJack420 I had a crush on her as a kid when she was on the Drew Carry show but as you said by the mid-season of Scrubs with all her plastic surgery she very avoidable
Jordan"omg if i have to stay and listen to this crap i'll need a stronger drink" DR Cox"i hate you" Jordan"i hate you 2 honey" DR Cox"fair ehough" lol these 2 make me laugh so much :P
@exorbium Her eyes and hair should have stayed the same. The eyes got squinty and the hair lighter. It seems to have made a HUGE difference. Or am I being picky?
Uh oh! We got two Tsunderes over here! Jordan: "I hate you!" Perry: "The feeling is mutual!" Jordan: (takes off jacket) Perry: (stares; downs his drink; tries to think about his new girlfriend but isn't doing so well)
Early season Jordan has such a different vibe to later season Jordan. She's actually intimidating and savage, later on all her quips just sounded lame no matter how "mean" they tried to be. Maybe it's mostly a dip in the quality of writing more than anything.
Not wrong. But in the show, Jordan becomes older, the mom of two kids, and enjoys Perry. At some point, her antagonistic topics switch to paternity stuff. She can't sneak off during the day, do business stuff, get drunk, seduce random men, and annoy Perry over nothing. Her role has changed. She wants to spend time on things that matter to Mommy Jordan.
I never liked the Jordan character. She cheated on him during their marriage with his best friend, she had his baby but didn't tell him it's his, she slept with his student to spite him AND she belittles him publicly every chance she gets. But she is attractive so everyone accepts it with a smile.
Everyone likes her because inspite of how dysfunctional their relationship is, the Perry x Jordan relationship works and is actually pretty sweet. She's also funny as hell and this is a comedy so that's pretty important. Oh and also the reason she didn't tell Perry that it was his kid was because she wanted him to choose her because he wanted to be with her, not out of obligation because Jack was his child, she literally told JD that when he found out Jack was Dr. Cox's kid.
