This was really good. Powerful and with flavor. The girls gave it a special touch and it seems like everyone is in the same page of love for the sport. I enjoyed it thanks.
I can't even lie this spirit mix was that fire. The only thing that hurt me was that It was too short. You guys should have given us atleast 2 more songs. Your musicality and power is just on a new level this year. Congrats to you guys making it to honda and keep getting better.

@rudeboy338 If that's what you 'd like to believe then do so. But based on what I saw, SCSU dancers focused more on the dance and not the theatrics, props, etc. and they looked great doing so.
@2012AggiePride This is beyond funny. SCSU at Honda speaks for itself, go back and check the clips. By the way, check for the applause before, during, & after their performance and the standing ovation they received which none of the other bands received. The fact that you would come out of your face to say such a crazy thing to mount a weak defense your folks at this point only proves my point. So I say thank you for that and the laugh. I know you're not over it, but maybe next year my friend.
Willpoo2, what you said is what the last part of screen name is.... a lot of Poo. I will say that Golden Delight is the 1 bright spot regarding the NCAT band. On the other hand Champagne doesn't need to take lessons from anyone but the choreographer(s) who put their routines 2gether. They don't have 2 add any fluff 2 their routines 2 be seen, they are a dance team and this is what they do, dance. And as far as dancing goes, they held their own against GD at the Band Brawl 2010. Say what U want.

@ced12 i never once asked where they got it from and could care less where they got it from, i said they weren't original putting those in they spirit mix.... and LMAO im not even going to go there cuz everybody already knows who the better band is between my school and the 101..... and your right everybody can be the 101 if they bring their standards down a level....

Morris Brown was not the first of anything with the two songs i mentioned up there.... those two songs in a spirit mix, is not original..... did they get the idea from NSU i will say yeah.....
@babyboi13d If U R so confident and convinced about who the better band is, then Y R U even commenting on this clip. As I've told others, I'll now tell U, NO BAND DIRECTS ITSELF. The band gets it's vision from the director. The students that make up the band R only the stewards who bring that vision 2 fruition. But the fact that U & others like U follow the 101 all over the internet N this forum & others 2 speak sideways about them is telling in and of itself. GREAT JOB 101. Keep them hating.

NSU played headbussas in every spirit mix last year, and plays Raise Up at NCAT in a spirit mix, on the field, or in the stands.... i didn't say they couldn't play it, i said be original, so you can chill out.... lol ppl getten buck over the internet...

Willpoo2 and Finecameron, the fact the U both R on this SCSU clip trying convince someone of how good U think your band is says it all. Finecameron U can bring up FAMU and BCU all you like, but SCSU more than handled their own against both bands this both at FAMU and at Honda. Finecameron you talk about FAMU didn't do good this year, but they were much better then NCAT. The only thing NCAT is good 4 is trying way 2 hard 2 prove how loud they R against bands like FAMU, SCSU, BCU and even NSU.

But your argument about their spirit mix makes no sense, because if U base your debate if that's what it is, on a song that was played N the spirit mix, then 1 could argue that no band is original N that regard because all of the songs played N both spirit mixes R songs that R played by other bands. We're content with ourselves, it's U with the issue. So I tell you my friend to get over it and yourself. We've moved on, U should too.
