I do love this controller even with the issues. The other issue I have is every time I connect the controller to my pc it says the mappings are not synced and I have to resync it every time. All of the issues that I’ve dealt with or heard about are things that can be addressed with firmware and software. If you are not someone that wants to spend the time to figure out how to get everything to work, then it’s not for you. However if you are willing to spend a little time, this controller is amazing!
thank you so much helped a lot i was so confused when i got the controller and my operator was stuck ADS then found your video and was oh ok makes sense so thank you so much for the help much appreciated
Mannnnn you too, so it does need to be open. I hopped in a ride and it didn't drive off lol smh. I just thought it was just me which was the reason I almost returned it.
yes it was super frustration trying to figure this out. But when i realized i wasn't having the issue with iCue open, then i made it a priority before i ever pick up the controller
I have mine set to open on system start up, I usually never leave my pc running after I'm done gaming so when I do turn it on to play, it automatically opens up upon turning on my pc
thanks for the video man, it was really helpful :) I got the envision pro yesterday and I still struggle to get used to the P2 and P3 paddles.. did you have any issues with them? do you use four fingers or two fingers on the paddles? I'll see you on twitch!
I’m glad this video was helpful! I don’t have issues now with my paddles, i use my (two) middle fingers to press all 4 of them while gaming. I do remember it taking me some time to get used to when i got my first scuf though. But after few years with scuf controllers, ive gotten used to it. And looking forward to seeing you over on Twitch!
Envision's stick feels similar to dualsense? I mean response curve because I tried some controllers like powera fusion or gamesir g7 and cant get that accuracy like I got on dualsense
To me, it was a seemless transition from scuf reflex sticks to the envision sticks. Prior to the reflex, i was using dual sense and that transition was smooth as well. I know its not a good answer but its the best comparison i can make. I hope that helps!
thank you! I am using a goXLR and have calibrating it mostly based off of the settings in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xL06zB0YuLg.htmlsi=JnKMsQ01i2wAXJj2
bro the controller is nice but it has a lot of issues....icue is unstable and sometimes it shuts down and the controller stop working...i play with the hardware settings but i am limited on maping the buttons....i already ask for a refound and I buld my one controller with extremrate
I'm sorry to hear that, I haven't had many issues with the icue app at all really. I can see why that would be frustrating because without the icue app, the controller itself can be essentially a paper weight.
I’m having an issue with my envision pro where in cod it feels like I have a constant high dead zone. In the software I use 0 0 and same in game. No matter what I change my dead one to it still feels like the dead one is like 20. Does anyone know how to fix this?
@@SjDaSauceGod Only other tested in Fortnite and it seamed fine. I even went through the steam controller settings and turned that dead zone down still nothing. Previously I used a stock ps5 controller and the thumb sticks dead zone feels much looser. The only fix I found so far is raising my sensitivity up by 2.
@@Ocinfv I'm glad you found some sort of fix. But having a sensitivity of 2 is probably much harder to play with. Could be an issue with COD if you weren't having it with Fortnite.
Also when i map the sax buttons off completely they dont map and it stays as a mapped button and the blanks are still protruding like a button.. i would avoid at all costs
I made this mistake and you haven’t fully pushed the blank down. When I put the blanks on the first time I didn’t push them down hard through fear of it seeming too hard but you need to push them down with a bit of force and they go flat
Great video, question. I just got my Scuf FPS today I play on pc, but I wasn’t aware that I had to get the EMR to remap back paddles. Is iCue only for the envision? Or does it work to remap paddles on all scuf products? Thank you
Have you tried messing with binding the independent dive to a button? I'm been trying to map it to my left side bumper but I can't figure out how to get it to work.
I have not tried it! i watched IceManIsaac's video describing how he uses the keybinds. I had already developed my system from previous scuf controllers.
that doesn't sound great. I remember being frustrated during my first week of using this controller but eventually got used to and now I love it. I would say to give it some time, but if you have same issue in a week or two, then it might be a problem.
Are those control freaks the Xbox or PlayStation ones? I’ve been thinking ab getting it for my controller but im wondering if they’ll grub on to the analog stick on the envision controller
I am using the PS kontrol freaks. I customized the sticks to be concave (This is the important as the CF wont grab convex sticks). I have had this kontrol freak on since Day 1 and it has never fallen off. Hope that helps!
Are you getting any issues where the back paddles after a couple of games they start to lag and are delayed. Its driving me nutts. Im always having to go back to my ps5 controller because of it
I am not having that issue with my controller. I can definitely see why you would go back to your tried and true controller when you experience that issue. I would suggest maybe reaching out to Scuf?
That is tough to answer. I haven't had much experience with other brands outside of scuf. I've heard good things about battle beaver but can't personally vouch
I have been using tactical button layout (right thumbstick is drop shot) since 2009. I think I am too far along to change that. I do recognize it may have its benefits, but might be diminishing returns at this point in my COD "career."
I am not having this issue with mine. But I will say that I ordered my controller with concave thumbsticks rather than convex thumbsticks. I have had issues with the convex thumbsticks with my Kontrolfreak not fitting properly.
the button immediately to the top right of the D-pad is defaulted to opening the tac map currently (similar to how the touchpad on PS controllers opens the tac map).
@@nickdaddyd2578 I am not sure there. I use my controller exclusively wired and have not had that issue while its plugged in. Are you having same issue when you are wired in?
@@SjDaSauceGod I’m not even 24 hours in with this controller and I’m over it. Has more issues then it’s worth. It’s only works on CoD while hard wired and there’s been 2x today where mid game the whole controller will stop working, when it starts working again only the basic functions work but no paddles/key binds.
@@nickdaddyd2578 is the iCue app running on your PC? I have had several occasions where my triggers and several buttons wont work and i'm forced to open the iCue app mid game to resolve the issue.
That was my fear! But actually no! I have discord open on a second monitor, and i don’t even have to be clicked into it for it to deafen. I set up an additional keybind which does not require you to click into it. (I believe the default key bind in discord does require you to be clicked in for it to register). I had a trial and error process before I got it figured out and it works like a charm!
@@SILVERBACK-ij6po instead of using the default keybind in discord and trying to link to Scuf, i set up a new one. That new key bind can be used whether discord is tabbed or not. I then input that keybind into the icue software for the controller.
I personally don’t use the iCue software. I chose to manually map because that software is AWFUL. Though it didn’t happen much, it was crash and the controller would disconnect. More often than not I’d spend 30 minutes mapping the profile only to have to launch and relaunch the software to actually make my changes apply. If anyone has a fix though, LMK!
The app used to crash much more a few months ago. I think it has stabilized recently. In fact, I cannot definitively remember the last time the app crashed on me. It is not the greatest app, but it loads better than it initially was.
if you select "build your own" on the website, you can choose how to customize the controller! I think this link should work scufgaming.com/envision-builder?source=collection
I am using the Elgato Foot Pedal. I did make a video on all my streaming gear, you can find it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bohfPUiyNrk.html
20% is actually insane, mine was finicky at 2-3%. Finally i increased it to 10% and then slowly reduced 1% over time till i got to 4%. I also found that linear helps to prevent auto fire. I was getting mad frustrated till i fine tuned it
@@SjDaSauceGod which selection did you put linear? Do you have joystick randomly spinning you? Opened it today and happened to me in call of duty besides the random screen openings
