im sure this will be patched in next update, as it happened with Abbatoir's genius idea to build base with lots of military style tents, which had 900hp at the time, you could put a chest under each one. Not even full week later they were patched to 100hp. :D

It is a good spot, no doubt. But its absolutely not worth it in my opinion. This is a high loot POI, which will be visited by players frequently. The chest might not be found, but YOU will most definitely be spotted sooner or later. Burying chests is a far superior method. Because you can choose the spot wherever you want, somewhere where you wont be harrassed by anyone and you can bury as many chests as you want. A well buried chest will NEVER be found. The only thing you have to be sure of is that you wont been seen by anyone dealing with your stash. A shovel can be crafted within 2min. Once crafted a metal shovel lasts long and can be placed in another close by location in a above ground but hidden chests. That way you dont have to craft one all the time. And there is also a small shovel you can easily carry with you. Another plus to this method is, that the despawn timer is longer when you burry the chest instead of leaving it above ground. Another tip for base owners is to never leave the most valuable loot inside the base itself and to have a buried stash somewhere close. That way you dont loose your most precious loot by raiders and if you are smart you also put everything needed to build a new base in that stash to be quickly back on your feet and move to a different location
