SD Gundam Generation World (PSP) - Custom Challenge [15] B03 作戦は一刻を争う 

I bought Moodmaker for two of my pilots after testing it out offscreen. The +% to hit it grants works both on the pilots themselves and on everyone in the same battle group, and it stacks from multiple pilots, with an cap of +15%. This gives me a nice +4% to hit just from this. I won't be boosting it anymore for for now since I'm just thinking of buying everyone a new ability every 10 levels instead for the Normal run.
This went pretty well outside of two NPCs getting kills and me eating some MAP attacks. The Challenge Mission was to take out either of the Frost Brothers with Garrod's Satellite Cannon. Amusingly, you still see Tifa in his attack, even though she's been kidnapped. I should show off enemy ace pilot attacks more, but I find myself getting impatient since these missions run 1.5 hours on average.
Anyway, my victory unlocks 出力リミッター解除ユニットII Output Limiter Release Unit II, which gives +10 ATK at the expense of +10% EN cost. Only evolution here is Wing Gundam to Wing Gundam Zero, but that's a huge one. +5 to unit stats on average, the ability to fly at Rank B even in MS form, A rank in Space in MS form, the Multilock Twin Buster Rifle attack and the regular Buster Rifle fires two shots with just -5% less accuracy.
I also spent a bit of time looking at ships since I'm at the point where I could afford a second one. The best option is likely the Squid or the Mother Vanguard for mobility and being both effective in Space and Air. However, I'd also need to afford a crew, and I'd also need to level up the crew (mostly Ace Point grinding) for them to be properly effective. Also, given that I am still restricting myself to only custom characters, the main benefit would be allowing me to use another Master overall plus better positioning. That's nice, but given that I'm trying to keep the grind low for beating the Normal difficulty, I think I'll abandon this idea and just run with one ship (unless I get stuck to the point where I do need the second ship.)
