I don't believe that's true, if a person truly fears GOD they cannot be swayed down the path of unrighteousness. If a person fears or loves the world more than GOD they will submit to the world. If the leadership of our church failed to take disciplinary actions against the proponents and advocates of women's ordination, then we cannot expect that LGBTQ+ will not be accepted in our church while continuing in their sinful lifestyle. Now they added abandonment as additional ground for divorce. Our church is now drifting with the stream of world. The erosion of our identity as remnant church is now unfolding before our eyes. This is now the fulfillment of prophecy. No wonder why many sincere from among our ranks choose to go out from our church because our leaders have compromised our doctrine which is solely anchored in the word of God.

First they and anyone else who have signed that petition need to be removed from any position of authority within the church to prevent them from trying to further deceive the congregation. The pastor in the video posted and read the apology and it stated that the people who signed the petition were apologizing were pastors, leaders and members so I think that means at least some of the congregation knew about what was happening in their church. Blessings sister

In Kenya pastors are posted to lead five churches but they're rarely in church they are furthering their education leaving the church to elders who rely on their manual as guide and something strange these pastors before their second degree appeared to be on fire for mission but after his sermons are dry I wonder what theologians teach them they are not heavenly but earthly

I'd prefer hearing quotes from the KJB , the socalled nkjv twists , changes and adds words which most SDAs think is acceptable by using the nkjv in place of the KJB. It's no wonder the SDA church is having issues.
As long as they're not giving Ellen White quotes I don't care which translation the quote is from. Personally I have several bibles and I utilize several online bibles and the King James Pure Bible Search. After looking at all the different translations it has been proven that the King James has translation errors also because the men who translated it didn't have access to all the scrolls like they do today. Don't get me wrong I love my KJV Bible, I'm just not a KJV only bible. Btw, this isn't just happening in the SDA church, this is happening in every church and the United Methodist just ordained LGBTQ+ pastors. Some baptist churches already have transgender pastors and many of these churches have stated that they will be publishing a more kinder, gentler bible translation to reflect the LGBTQ+ community. Yeshua, (Jesus) who is the WORD warned about adding or taking away from scripture in Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Proverbs 30:5-6; Revelation 1:1 and most notably Revelation 22:18-19. We have to remember that as a church we (SDA) are to call others out of the fallen churches as the 2nd angel has instructed. So what the other churches are doing should have no impact on us. But we have to have a clear message to give (3 angels) and study groups/ministries/ churches that give the message faithfully. GC is not our God and God’s message will go through… with or without GC. Pray much and work faithfully.
My only issue with this is we as SDAs do not call ALL sin out. We only call out the sins that dont easily beset us. We turn a blind eye to physical and spiritual abuse, infidelity, theft and misappropriation of funds. I could go on but you get the point. The apology letter should be to everyone our church has hurt, even thise we have disciplned and left to be ...never to regain them into the fold. What the pastors need to do is get together. Pray and ask God to guide them. The next thing I want to say change is good and bad depending on what it is. Some things need to change in the Church, but we should not compromise our beliefs.

The professors in our universities, pastors, executive officers high in the hierarchy of the SDA organization, are receiving high salaries to create their own version of the Bible and the SDA church. As long as this document is not from the General conference of the Adventist Church leadership, I personally don't identify with it as an individual member of the SDA Church. Anyone who profess to be a member of the church must accept what the Church stands for, not undermine it. As much as we are not perfect, we are helping each other towards perfection through the help and power of the Holy spirit of God. So if anyone is taking part in open sin, not open to correction, then they are not members, and should leave, whatever their positions/office in the church. This is jot right. The president of the general conference has spoken against this over and over, but they are not listening. They want to die in their sins,and also drag others with them. Really sad.

IF THE GENERAL CONFERENCE OF THE SDA CHURCH IS UNABLE TO DEAL THESE DIABOLICAL ISSUES PROPERLY, THEN , THEY SHOULD STEP DOWN. ELSE THEY WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE BA KSLIDING AND THE LOSS OF MILLIONS CHURCH MEMBERS.
You have to consider that the system of governance of the SDA Church is not hierarchical like the Catholic Church. That’s why we Divisions, Unions , and local Conferences that functions autonomously , including the local Churches who have local board members.
