Respect, updates are appreciated and gives machines the worth and longevity. Thinking about gettin the se-02 but any update coming for being able to use other scales like Pythagorean ?
Is it possible to have plocks return to their original state on the next step of the sequencer? Any chance of more lanes of plocks on the sequencer? Cheers
I just bought one and have no cables to plug it in. The sales associate told me it’s a guitar cable but when I got home it doesn’t fit. Please tell me how to plug it in. Thanks

An extra row or two on the built in sequencer would be nice as a software update (48 notes..or even 64) , as would the ability to store motion control data either as one row (or pass) or as above(three or four rows/ passes). The rest is good stuff.
in the new OS se02 update there is now an option to set an option to instruct the song to loop (previously not possible). i'm hoping it is possible to realtime record while four patterns are looped in song mode, that would be very cool.
dear roland if u would make this device a little big bigger and with some better knobs. this would flip the market like the 808. cause sound is beyond...was a smart move to collab with se. i get it it has to fit the boutique line and with the fitting keys etc. but think about it :) a big fan greetings from zurich
My Mac is running iOS 10.13.4 and I can't seem to get my se-02 to be recognized in the midi/audio program. I have updated the firmware and also installed the 10.13 drivers bit I still have no luck. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong or why it won't work?
I found the problem, it's a bug in firefox for MONO recordings. If this had been recorded in stereo then it would have played back fine. For anyone interested it's fixed in Firefox 61 which as of May 2018 is in beta. The bug is 1449342 and I can confirm in beta 61.03 it's playing back normally.
No you can reset the system and yes the factory patch will be lost as long you dont reset it. You have total of 128 slots or record it on a sampler device
Still no transposing the internal playing sequencer in real-time from an external keyboard The Moog Mother 32 allows transposing the sequencer out of the box but the SE-02 only allows this with Roland own keyboard dock Makes one wonder if they've done this specifically to force people to buy their keyboard dock
I wish you guys would have done a walk through of the update install presses the website says if you make a mistake you mess up the synth so a video showing the exact window file to move would be nice
Graviton ok I went and tried and now every time I fallow the steps to a T it gives me error. Now I don’t now if I can use it any more as I am afraid to try turning it on and play it.
