There's something called the spotlight effect which is the psychological phenomenon by which people tend to believe they are being noticed more than they really are. It's surprising what a person can get away with without people noticing or caring.🙂
Skylar just tries to share her reasons why she cuts her hair and Dave sabotages her...? I know NF is important but I don't get what Dave is trying to prove here. Is it because Skylar shares ST stuff and Dave become apeshit about it? Funnily enough, I understand every single word Skylar says here. Maybe this video is meant for him more than Skylar. Check your ST.
@@fazerhaze2705 I think you're missing the point. He's trying to warn people who would hear the ST and mistype her. "But I tracked the ST!" they would cry. The ST is free. Everybody at some point has to give some ST to get through the world we live in, and an NF is going to try to do it just justify their behavior to others. He's saying track the NF instead. That's where you'll catch the type.
@fazerhaze2705 No, what Dave is saying is important, although I agree it doesn't apply in this particular scenario. However, what he's saying I've that happen as well. NTs and STs aren't the best, so it makes sense if they misconstrue the intentions. For example, when Elon Musks' first wife was grieving the death of her child, he told her to stop crying and emotionally manipulating him. Sometimes, thinkers can really seem Autistic especially if they grew up in an environment where they did not learn to emote.
You can tell that she's less than okay and they seem aware that they are less than equipped to help her in any meaningful way. But the "New York" comment seems like a weak attempt to show care anyways.
Her shaving her hair is a way of reducing conflict with WOMEN (not men!). She sounds like she has a spiritual existential thing going on and she is aware that becoming a deeper person will put her in conflict with the tribe which she fears. She needs to understand herself, get a better tribe and then make herself pretty again.
@@woodnymph3063 I agree that she is pretty. I think that is the reason why she has shaved her hair. Often attractive women have to worry about the envy of other women inspiring hatred. and this is a not very conscious way of minimising that.
Shedding sucks just on its own. There need not be another reason to shave hair. Making stuff up that no one can prove or disprove is objective personality thing.
