Brilliant night mate, one to remember and three conger out between us. Loved every minute of it! Love the video too, very neat. I'll be working on mine today, still buzzing now!
Dude, that nice garfish at 4:31 you should've kept, they're good to eat (in my opinion) but even if you don't want to eat it they can be great as fresh bait. Also, octopuses are awesome, self-aware and extremely smart. One of my favourite animals of all time. And those rod-tip lights are very cool. Imma gonna have to get myself a couple or three of them now!!
Hi john you ok fella, enjoyed the watch again cheers. Well done lads , nice petit fish in daylight n then the big boys come out to play at dusk haha . All the best from Grimsby.
Another great video johno made me laugh with the rubber fish that's something we do a lot to are mates we tie it on the line when they are not looking lol 😆 All the best from Paul from Staffordshire 🇬🇧 😀 👍👍
Hi John, nice to meet you all the other night, great video by the way 😀 some lovely fish there......... Have to meet up in the future for a fish when I'm back from Sgark fishing in Falmouth next week, the lad (Bradley) says you're an inspiration for him to start videoing our own trips, Cheers Martin
Great session again and you can catch as much as 25 species of fish in one day there because I have done it. But there is a place pretty close to there which holds bigger conger and one legendary one. A massive conger that quite a few have hooked, some have seen it but no one has ever landed it. It's also a very good place for large wrasse which I think you like catching. The only thing with putting videos on RU-vid is every man and his dog will go there fishing and not everyone is as considerate as other anglers so some marks end up smelling of pee and a mess and dead fish dumped everywhere. I have never seen the breakwater so packed for a long time that's why I mention this and just hope it doesn't turn out it the same state as Holyhead. I have reached out to you about marks but you haven't replied but the offer still stands. We used to drop the drop net down to the sea bed with a mackerel head in it until we needed it. We used to kill 2 birds with one stone as not only would the net be ready but we used to get a bi catch of huge crab and lobsters in it. We used to check it every 25 mins or so and it never failed. Great session and best of luck on your next one but the Amlwch area has many marks in a 5 mile radius from there which hold better fish.
Hey buddy just replied to your comment about the info on that other mark, thanks so much buddy greatly appreciated I’ll be trying that very soon! I’ve deleted the comment u posted today so it doesn’t upset that locals as I’ll be keeping it quiet in my video when I go there to…. Thanks again buddy and stay tuned u might well see me there in the not so near future. John
Another great session. Do you have an email address I can contact you on? I've got a great mark for you to try not far from Amlwch, which throws up some huge conger and bullhuss.
