The north shore doesn’t fish as well as it used to , at least not when I go 😂,, that first fish looked like a pollock 👍👍🤠

I was there last week on a break i walked up to there 24,25th nov must of missed you . if your after the cod have you fished the Mersey wallasey town hall Birkenhead on high water evening high water worth a shot for the cod Bromborough was my favourite had a few nice cod for there in the passed

Hi John, check out the Mersey Motley Crew on here as they are fishing Mostyn docks for conger and I've been told that a 20lber has come out of there recently. The first bit of the video is them fishing the Menai Straits then they go on to Mostyn. It gives you another mark to try anyway and it may give you some bigger congers than the Amlwch breakwater., take care buddy.

Fished the Pier yesterday. How are you not getting snagged up on the rocks there? Might day fish the pier then move up to where you're fishing for the evening next time 👍👍

That fish was not a whiting it was a coalie as lower lip longer than top lip

It cant be helped but once people see where you are fishing and done the hard work finding a good spot to fish everyone else turns up. Not tarring everyone with the same brush but some people leave marks a right mess as I saw you picking up some rubbish but not only that you just cant fish the spot without getting tangled up with everyone else. Also when people lose tackle it becomes a right mess that you also get snagged up in and ruins the mark. There's no mistaking where you are fishing so you can't hide location but expect the same next time you fish there. If you want a half decent chance of a cod without travelling too far then try the Straits. Only go if there's snow on the mountains and no melt or heavy rain as the freshwater run off ruins the fishing there. If you decide to go for conger then live baiting a whiting will do the trick. If you fish the rocks or a beach at night anywhere I would give a general location of where you are or expect more of the same which takes away the solitude and the relaxing part of fishing which most enjoy, take care buddy.
