The outer Hebrides isles, translated from ancient Norse as "the Isles on the Edge of the sea", and they certainly feel like it!
Located on the very southern tip of the Scottish Outer Hebrides island chain, a sea kayaking trip out to Mingulay and Barra Head must be one of the UK`s classic trips. Having just completed this part of the trip, see part one video, our plans were continue up the West side of Vatersay and Barra before returning to our start point on East Vatersay. Once again, this area offers amazing scenery and sense of wilderness with cliffs , caves, arches in a isolated and exposed location. This part of the trip also requires settled weather conditions
