1st as someone who will be purchasing this on PS after playing on XBox for years, please no. 2nd Safer Seas exist for this reason. Let them explore there to get to grips with mechanics. The game we experienced at launch is so different now. A huge wave of new players came in / returned in the last few seasons I haven’t seen an outcry from them.

I think they should add console only servers. I'm on Xbox, but I would love to play with my PS5 friends on the same server without cheaters and PC M&K sweats.
@@evilslither6759 We have 2 crossplay options : everyone and Xbox only servers. What I'm saying it would be amazing if they just combine Xbox and Playstation into "Consoles Only" without splitting them into 3 individual server groups
@@HighwindFury Bro, you can say whatever you want. No advantage, no cheaters, no exploits, and blah blah blah. We already have Xbox-only servers, so people can choose if they want to play on global servers with everyone, including PC, or switch to Xbox servers only, which guarantee you the same input method (aka controller), no cheaters, and a lot fewer exploit abusers. For example, you can't do a ladder launch on console; it's simply not possible. Or playing against players with FOV of 120 or increasing your DPI to extreme values to avoid bullets underwater. If you love global servers, go ahead and enjoy them, but I'm sure most console players would prefer to combine Xbox and PS5 servers together and also have an external option for, umm, thrill-seekers who want to experience PC's version of this sandbox.
I couldn't agree more with the 2 week grace period. I got an Xbox recently, picked up Sea of Thieves and its been a rollercoaster. I enjoy the piss out of the game but running into veteran players and immediately getting my teeth kicked in just isn't it. I haven't had the opportunity to practice PVP in the slightest bit and it's made me avoid it entirely. If I see a ship heading for me, I just scuttle to avoid the 10 seconds of embarrassment and I hate it.
Solo hourglass has been really useful for me practicing pvp (both naval and player combat). It’s filled with sweats so you can’t play with the expectation to win, or else you’ll get discouraged. But use it as a learning tool! It’s a super fast way to improve your skills in an environment where sinking doesn’t matter!

There will be so many new ps5 players like me. I will play safer seas until I am ready and play tall tales in safer seas. So I will probably don't even play the orginal game until later this summer when I have learned to play the game better. 😊
i came back after not playing for like 3 years or 4.. first few sessions i ddnt get anything done.. people hunted me down for barly any loot.. i got 15mil gold. dont even know what to do in the first place and playing the game casually is not possible
Hi, could you help me, whenever I play Sea of Thieves after a while, when I'm already in the open world, my game crashes and says I have to update the video driver, but the problem is that there isn't even an update for it. do, I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still says that I have to update the video drivers and after a while my computer screen start blinking
I played this game on Xbox and I got rid of my Xbox now for a Playstation 5 I left SoT because of the state it is in but now SoT is looking good once again and u bet ur ass I'm gonna get SoT the day it comes out and then I can easily get the Skeleton and Ghost Curse sorry boys it saves time get the worse grind done first and then enjoy the rest slowly become a PL complete the Tall Tales complete world events defeat Megalodon's and Kraken's make friends make enemies and more and hopefully meeting Hitbo again😂
I hardly feel that there are that many people that are waiting to play the game just to play on PS. Maybe a few that will switch to PS, but really if people want to play, they would have found a way to already.
I played it a bit last year on my pc, it was laggy because my pc is bad, now i can play again for real, on ps5 and im finna destroy 1000000000 galleons
As a xbox user I will be welcoming to PlayStation players especially as a pirate legend of your low level I will even help you out by giving you legendary voyages rather than PlayStation and xbox fighting forever.
My point with the two weeks was more that it’s fun to fight noobs as a noob at the launch of a game. Safer seas wouldn’t give them that. I’m thinking of “new player servers” instead of “private servers” As much as I wanna poop on noobs, I’m much more concerned about this new audience having a good first impression of the game. I’m a little biased as a content creator tho
@@captain_squiddy I do agree somewhat, but as a year 2 beginner player I didn't have that experience but found the community to be super helpful and accommodating so quickly found my feet. I still have faith that the community will still help new players just as I do now.
