As a solo slooper who's only been sunk by Galleons either at an Outpost, anchored and on an island, or in the middle of being Krakened all for the sake of "fun fair PvP" I may have enjoyed this a bit too much.
There were times where my crew and I loaded up our treasure into a rowboat and towed away with our treasure while our ship sank. We ran out of canon balls etc and we weren’t that far from an outpost. We lost the fight but we technically still won in the situation if that make sense. My point is I would’ve thrown a fire bomb on the rowboat. That way there’s no escape. Plus the fire might have stil spread since it was attached to the main ship.
Even tho this is two years ago im still gonna give a tip Tip: never anchor not in any time just lift up ur sails until u come to a sudden stop so if someone is attacking u u can just put the sails down and run away
Yeah there's an issue not too many people are talking about. Not sure if it's still as prevalent as it used to be but when you sink a ship or have yours sunk the new ship would spawn 1 or 2 islands away. This would lead to crews attacking you over and over until you'd eventually just lose. Making certain events that required a decent amount of time to loot (FOTD, Vaults etc) really annoying.
