"La Marseillaise" played by the Verbeeck 165 band organ (Wurlitzer 165 replica) at the carousel at Seabreeze Amusement Park, Rochester, New York. Recorded by Charlie Lowe, July 2009.
Roll 6517 is a short roll made up of four national anthems:
1. The Star Spangled Banner (USA)
2. La Marseillaise (France)
3. God Save The King (Britain)
4. Marcia Reale = Royal March (Spain)
Tunes 1 and 3 are also on roll 6516 ("Patriotic Roll") (tune 3 appears on that roll as "America"). Tunes 2 and 4 are unique to this roll -- and there are only four known copies of this roll, one original and three recuts. So even if you own a 165 roll-playing organ, you've probably never heard this tune! (I've also uploaded tune 4.)
