Both skis started at the house , so took to fresh water lake close to home. The lanyard had to be wiggled together the yellow one to start . So got the yellow one in the water and it did fine other than less power and a surge at full throttle over 6000rpm only would go 51 mph brother said should do 70 . Came back then I found the wood came loose on the trailer longs . They had been timing the rear of jet ski tot he wood eye bracket not a secure place to tie it down . Told my youngest brother his ski . Told him tie it down to the trailer frame much more secure so you are not pulling on the wood bracket that holds wood tot he trailer . Now got it loaded up and get red ski off trailer thank god the ski has reverse cause water is cold at this time of year and I had to use the new battery in the skis to get me back to the doc it kept dieting . Got loaded and decide since I had surgery maybe gas is old . So plans were to get gas out of the red seadoo. Now that was fun with my boat siphon I had to remove filler hose in Sid the hill and put the siphon bulb and hose in the tank and made sure bulb was in the tank far enough and not hitting sides of the tank when I shake to get the ball to siphon and the other tank new gas can I bought was low enough to get it to siphon . Got 7 gallons out and then I could not get it to siphon fuel to low and the shaker bulb hits side of the tank when you get near the bottom of the tank and looses prime . Now I had another siphon hose with squeeze bulb to helping priming but of course didn’t find it till I got done and I look almost everywhere I thought it would be . It ended being at bottom of my truck box only place I didn’t look of course. So got soem ethanol free gas and stabilblue blue 12 month type and Techron fuel black fuel and intake valve clean stuff add to both skis the blue stuff I think was 4 oz to 10 gallons of gas . And split the black Techron 18 oz container between the both skis . Next it still didn’t want to start . So I was going to the forums and read and watch h. Ideas and decided to try and do compression check and check plugs . Thinking maybe the plugs fouled but they were not black so I hooked up coil and took end rubber insulator off the coil hooked it to connector and held near grd. And started the ski see how far spark would jump and see how blue or purple it was . Battery I had on the charger prior since I used it to move ski back to dock cranking in reverse and menoving it to the dock . So battery charged and spark was kind weak mmmm ? Still confuse more reading and wat hint. Ideas again . Thinking weird maybe loosing pwr to coil and fuel pump . So next I decide to order adapter to get compression and get spark plugs cause the back side of the plug was burnt on porcelain . I even tried 2 oz of motor oil in the cylinder holes when I took plugs out for inspection that didn’t help . Now I read that pump has to come on when first hooking lanyard up which I had to hear with covers off and I used my engine noise detect stethoscope pump does run . Put new plugs in figuring I need to take to dealer to scan . For codes . I saw a red wire with fuse holder checked it out thought wow it’s burnt maybe it feeds some thing ? Found fuse and new fuse just blew and followed the wires that was to the fostgate amp for the stereo . I bnever had music on my wave runner and it also would 80 mph so it was not something you took lightly or listen to music while you are wide open. So the fuse did nothing . I decide just try cranking with new plugs and it started and revel like a fuel injected car . I never took compression on engine I did add some oil to cylinder so they may have gotten washed down from trying . So I brought skis back to brothers home .
