I made my first crepes about 40 years ago and marveled at how simple, and simply delicious, they were. My late husband said the only way to eat crepes was with real butter and maple syrup. Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories. And your son, Brad, I'd guess he takes after Raymond? God Bless you, Ray, and all your family 🙏👑✝❤
Great recipe idea. I watched this video this morning before I had breakfast...... so for my morning meal I made breakfast crepes adding some sugar and vanilla served with maple syrup. lol They were wonderful.

I do love crepes, and those look really good. When I've made crepes, the first one isn't always perfect. Your son Brad is a natural at making them. I've also had nalesniki, which is a Polish/Ukrainian dish, made with crepes stuffed with cottage cheese and dill, and a cream sauce and baked. Cheers, to you and your family, Bonita! 👍👍✌️🇨🇦

My mom used to make seafood crepes and it was delicious! Thanks for this. I almost forgot about this recipe. I never got the salt pork that mom used to love. She was from St.Johns and I'm extremely proud of my Newfoundland roots.

I was waiting for you to add some Newfoundland summer savory. I would have thickened that sauce a bit (perhaps with a knob of beurre manié) so I could enjoy more of its luscious goodness in the crèpe. A delightful recipe, Bonita!

I was thinking about adding savoury but the sauce got a nice flavour with the carrot, onion and the seafood. I didn't want to take it away by adding in the savoury. I do have lot's of tasty recipes here on youtube with savoury in it, but this one was good without it. You can thicken the sauce but I wanted it for the casserole crepes and it got it's natural thickness after it was baked. Hello Bonita! Yes. We agree. Drop the fork / two thumbs up recipe. We used feta cheese and imitation crab instead. Yet, the filling for these crepes was so delicious. We’re adding this recipe to our regular ones!

I know a diabetic really watching their carbs...can you use any different kind of flour that's lower in carbs? Your son's a hoot...any other videos he's in? Can you make those crepes WITH the seafood blended in with the flour?
Hi Morgan, Thank you first for stopping by and for enjoying our video and recipe. I'm sure you can use whatever type of flour you wish, whole wheat, gluten free etc....the basic crepe you can't add anything to the batter first because they would fall apart. But after you cook them you can add whatever you like. This is the only video with my son in it for cooking but who knows we may do more. :) Bonita
