Jones (already paid), Murphy (1st rounder at a huge impact position), and Williams (already paid). That's about it. The offense was nearly top 10 in terms of yards per play.. the defense was the worst defense in terms of TOP, bottom 3 in terms of allowing 3rd down plays, and bottom 5 year in yards... if the defense doesn't get better this team wont go anywhere... all three of of those guys are HIGH investment players... if they don't pan out Macs job as a HC in Seattle is going to end VERY quick.

Phil with the awkward intro 😂 My dude to watch is Cross. If he can take a step in maturation and become a player worthy of the 8th overall pick that would prove huge for the team.

@@SeaHawkersPodcast lol, I didn’t mean to copy I was just thinking as Phil was … going, that if that player can be what he’s supposed be now that he’s 23 and maturing then the coaches can do more such as rolling protections to the right or wherever etc. just helps in a multiple ways. Abe’s leg isn’t going to magically heal. It’s something he will have to manage the rest of his life.

If Witherspoon takes a big step forward, game changer. Offense I go with Fant. When the ball went his way last year, we had huge gains. If he gets more targets in a pass happy offensive scheme, look out.

The defence was poor last year. Part of this was because the offence had so many 3 and outs. This put them on the field for far too much of the time. Similarly the defence couldn.t seem to stop any teams in their first set of downs. I think that with the changes made this close season that they will be capable of at least two per game on each side of the ball. Maybe much more than that . This will get the offence on the field more than 50% of the time. I don't agree that we were a top ten offence last year, nowhere near, top offences are on the field most of the time.
