I used to Race across this Lake in my 1980's Honda Civic Pulling a Big truck inner tube with 3 of my friends hanging on for dear life LOL Thanks for the Memories!

It's a pity we haven't been able to design amphibious passenger jets with the ability to land on and take off from water, as it would save land from being turned into unsightly runways in coastal areas which have suitable waters. The Russian Beriev BE-200 is pretty close to this.
