I know he won't remember me but I definitely remember this guy. I went to bootcamp with Bridges in Division 924 in 07. He was our RPOC (recruit leader) and this guy was a real problem for the RDCs. The problem was their job is to stress and train both mentally and physically fresh recruits into military members but Bridges was indestructible and way above pretty much everyone else including the RDCs themselves. They couldn't even take it serious when they tried to IT (extra physical workout as "punishment") him because he could not be bothered by it not at the levels of basic boot. I remember eavsdropping on our Chief and she had a solid intuition this guy was going to get that trident out of the 10-15 guys we had that were also going to BUDS. She wasn't wrong.
@@SignalMinds I have a feeling Specwar Div’s may not have been a thing in ‘07. I went to boot in 2012 and I was an 800 division. You’re right, but idk if it may have been different previously or when the Specwar divs were set up.
@@SignalMinds I just researched it, the 800 divisions weren’t a thing until 2009. Before that specwar candidates got placed everywhere, the 900 divisions typically had specwar candidates. So he’s telling the truth.
this is the first time i have every heard josh talk about his time in the SEAL teams.... Ive heard him say he was a SEAL but never elaborated on it.. Lets be honest.... They aren't exactly silent warriors anymore..l ( which i am totally ok with mind you) ... but this guy never tried to stand out.. which makes him stand out even more.... Strong, quiet, intense = warrior !!
Josh Bridges going through BUDS training at 23 years... That right there is incredible.. being an active duty US Navy SEAL and competing and winning events at the CrossFit Games.. that's legend
I’m 63 and want to be just like this. Started to get back into shape December 21 2019. I have a journey, a vision, and purpose. THANK YOU for this inspirational message. Semper fi..
Best of luck brother. I start my journey to be fit as soon as my equipment arrives. The planning is done. All I need is to start working out. I’m excited
I'm right there with you brother. I'm 62. I've had many SEAL friends so I know what they're all about. They're my heroes and Josh Bridges is the epitome of a SEAL and a motivator. Hooyah Josh!
This dude is a straight up beast. Yet he is still humble, discipline, motivated, deadly, extremely intelligent with knowledge and experience. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Now this is what I call a role model. Semper FI.
One of my all time favorite athletes to watch on the competition floor. An absolute savage. The level of tenacity Bridges brought to every event massively impacted the sport during what I consider to be the golden era of the CrossFit Games. Great stuff.
I guess im asking randomly but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
I'm 38 and spoke with a cross-fit gym today. Still thinking if the amount of money is worth it ...until I saw this video! You are an inspiration...THANK YOU. I'm also in my second year of dental school and remember that not too long ago nobody believed I can get in or able to go back to school since I'm a foreigner and way too old, but... I am doing it.
This is what I support 1000% MEN & WEMON THAT SUPPORT 🇺🇸 VETERANS THAT FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS AND FREEDOM FOR OUR COUNTRY. ALSO MEN AND WEMON OF THE BLUE LINE, RED LINE, GREY LINE 👮♂️👩🚒👮♀️👨🚒🤘 #MERICA 🥃
What happened to the Silent Professionals. Why are the Seals so eager to show their stuff on social media. Surely our adversaries also watch. In the seminal military book, The Enlightened Soldier, there is a great line: "Always be more than you appear to be". Seals need to resist the urge to be on social media talking their craft. Let their deeds speak for themselves. Stop tooting your own horn for financial gain and notoriaty.
Quiet kept secret...Froning let people beat him...because the producers of the event were worried that once he was done the sport would diminish and so they paid him to let people beat him for the future of the sport. That is how dominate he was.
Josh Bridges is not the guy with crap génétics who look like nothing but start training and use steroids a few month before a movie and than loose all those gains 2 weeks later...
SOO AWESOMELY INSPIRING, ALMOST PRODUCES MY DOPAMINE, JUST: WATCHING, LISTENING, AND ENVISIONING ; HIS WILL TO CONTINUE STRIVING, THE THOUGHT OF QUITTING NEVER ENTERING HIS THOUGHT PROCESS/MIND
those short, beefy-muscled kinesthetic learners -- very cool but he also scares me a bit. Some of us don't want to be 20 forever or grow old to see 90.
this video is very awesome and inspiring, but does anyone else notice how castro just disses fraser off the rip? kinda childish if you ask me, just bc fraser isn’t a kissass
Who in the world would give Josh Bridges thumbs down on this video . What a losers! Josh, I think you are the greatest the least to say. Thank you so much for your service and entertainment . Love to watch you train and compete . More power to you. You are an inspiration!
