JP I have a question: I am confused as to what will be best item for my needs. Trying to keep the cost down because of just making multiple purchases to upgrade my system and dont want to purchase the wrong product when in fact something else would be better for me. I'm leaning towards the- Ioxus Ultra Capacitor 12V Group 31 Smart Power Ultracapacitor/Capacitor UC-31 UC31 But also see the d4s lithium setups too. I have 2 jp234 amps 1 for tweeters and 1 for the mids lol. And I have 1- JP23 for subs right now and going to purchase a second one in the next few months (after I get the subs and box built) So after install it should have about 3200w rms to the doors (4 pairs of 6.5" mids & 4 sets of tweeters lol) and around 5000w rms on the subs (either 4 12's or 2-3 15's in a blow thru). I'm using this for non stop music everyday in my daily. I have 1- 250 amp alternator atm currently (thinking of buying a mechman 370-500a or do a dual alt setup ) . I am running dual batteries and I'm about to order 2 XS POWER D3400 from you for replacing the lead acid ones I have now(4/0 yes 0000 guage power wire from knu concepts from front to rear on everything all ofc . whew ok sorry to run on I just didnt want to leave any info out! My question is will this ultra capacitor be best bet? I really like the emergency jumpstart option it has too! I have a D4S LTO batteries when I get back from a trip every 5 days when I turn on my truck it initially starters charging at 15.4 to 15.6 then tapers down to 14.4 volts after a minute or so will that damage the lithium, if so should I get a step-down or something similar

I like ported but NVX 1000rms dose very good in a small sealed enclursors.

What’s best sealed or ported if you listen to a wide variety of music? Can ported be tuned to sound good with more genres then just rap?

i just put 2 12" SLD D4 in a sealed box in my C6 corvette...very punchy bass...i would like it to be deeper but its hard working with very little space to make a ported box. I had 2 10" american bass xfl in a big ported box prior and it was slapping like crazy but that box took up the whole trunk and there was literally not visibility out the back window. I went with a different setup but im missing that deep bass...gotta find a ported box that will fit in the back of my car and allow these subs to really open up

I have never ever heard a shallow mount sub that sounds beefy in had fosgate p3 they are garbage kicker L7 shallow was the closest I've heard that sounds remotely decent.

I had an undersized sealed & just switched for a correct size ported and I will not be going back. It is louder. At every freq. The shaking and the booming have doubled or tripled. I have no Idea. It's like a war zone in the car now.

Sad story: I finally damaged a PSI p2-hp 12 inch. (hard clipped an un-suspecting 15hz note on full tilt) Running 2 on 2 nendo 2ks on 1 ohm w/ very adequate voltage after 6 years of shows and abuse. Re-coning it and it's going back in lol
