Ok @David Bond You get wiser, and you are correct in your assumptions, most of the times, but no one hears you. You make less mistakes in your options, because you've already done most of the mistakes. You get access to more women, and more younger ones, but don't want most of them because you want to settle down, and they don't. You start getting bored of everything, because you've seen it all already. You watch politics more than movies, you see though the lies, and get frustrated by all of it. And of course, people around you start dying. Relatives, teachers, idols, even friends in a lesser degree. And that's just by 40. Enlightened at all?
I thought this was an odd choice as his character is meant to be Egyptian. Regardless of Sean's actual nationality, its not exactly fitting for the character Ramirez.
Watching this scene broke me down, knowing that Sir Sean Connery - one of my favorite performers, and also my dad's favorite performer and also his adolescent 007 - is no longer with us. R.I.P., sir Sean. Thank you for everything 😭😭😭
My dad too. He would talk about what a sad day at would be when he died. Then my dad (born 1935) died first. I didn't get a chance to tell him Sean Connery (born 1930) is still alive. He would have loved it. Sean Connery died a year later.
I firmly remember Highlander 2 - 1991 in theatres. It was THE first movie I had EVER experienced an audience turn on a film. LOL! It was that bad. Anyways, thank you for the tribute. Sean Connery will always be one of my personal favorites. RIP. 😢
There was no Highlander 2, there was Highlander then some empty time then Highlander 3, then some kinda garbage after that, then a series. Us true fans don't believe in the legend of Highlander 2

So. A couple of years ago I awoke one night. It was idk about 3 AM And I didnt want to listen David Bowie's last album. I put it off for a while. But I decided to listen to it. Somewhere near the end of the album I had a Google alert notified me that david Bowie past way that night. This week I rewatched Highlander 1 and 2. Along with the Untouchables, From Russia with Love and Aladdin and the King of Thieves. Basically a Sean Connery movie a day till today. Lol tbh I am scared to tell you guys the next strange urge of movies to watch because. I love his work as a character actor.
This must be the Blu-ray version. Good Quality. You can even see the detail on the katana sword right before Connor gets it. But they don't show that part but that is what happened. The Producers always wanted to keep the reappearance of having a sword in these movies somewhat magically but still within logic. So cutting showing Connor get the sword was on purpose.
In fact this is not the final death , exists a script called Highlander III-The Reckoning" totally placed on Zeist and probably with another come-back of Ramirez !! I have written a script called 'Highlander-The Princes of the Universe"before knowing about this script and totally placed on Zeist!! A kind of Magic!!!😁😃
