Right I was like when the officer walked up and he was like are you nug and said that he needed this help with something I'm like holy crap dude I said they know who you are and they're looking for your help I thought that was so neat

That was absolutely amazing of the dive team/police!!! They know who you are and that is awesome!!! They want to work with you. You should be so proud of how far you have come. I understand that every time you search for somebody you want to resolve it. Please don't feel like a failure because you have no reason to feel that way. You work hard for every missing person and their family. If somebody doesn't know that, you have a ton of people to line up and let them know different. Maybe he isn't in the water. Thanks for giving of your time to help this dear family. I watched an AWP video where they were looking for a body. I was so interesting to learn that a recent body is never located out straight, but is usually found hunched over in half standing on the bottom until it bloats and floats to the surface.
How awesome that CID asked you to join them & help look!! It’s obvious that they have nothing but respect for you all & you should be very proud Jeremy! On the other hand, WO🌎 is up with that river & people driving/dumping/disappearing in it?? You guys have now pulled 4 or 5 vehicles out & it appears that you found another one. Please everyone keep watching these videos, even when it's clear from the beginning that they do not find what they are looking for. Watching, liking, and commenting increases revenue and boosts the algorithm for them and this is what funds their good work. If you don't want to actually watch the video turn it on and go cook dinner or whatever. And don't skip the ads, skipping ads reduces revenue.
Now that was a very good interaction with the cops bringing you out on their boat and helping you in learning what to see and expect in a body search. Awesome video.
I looked on google about Arthur Lee, he was a well loved professor of Geology. His former students said he enjoyed teaching Geology and his classes were always fun. It seems illogical to think he may have committed suicide, since he was well liked at the college; of course I don’t know him or know what he was thinking at the time. I was just thinking to myself of a possible scenario of what might have happened, what if he took a walk along the river and saw an interesting specimen be it fossil or rock near the edge of the river, reached down to get it and slipped and fell into the water. The water is very cold this time of the year and hypothermia could set in quickly. If the current was moving, he may have been taken out further from the shore, he may have panicked and drown. I really hope I’m wrong and he is found alive and well. Jeremy you did your best and that is all you can do. You helped the authorities and they seemed like a nice bunch of guys. It's good to see law enforcement working with you. Everyone has the same goal in these cases and the more trained eyes working these bodies of water, the sooner Arthur Lee and others are likely to be located.
You're right Jeremy, we never stop learning. It's always great to see friendly co-operation with the various Agencies. Each contribution to returning a lost loved one or even just removing rubbish from the environment is providing an invaluable service. That was awesome when the first officer showed up and got your info mentioning “if we ever need your help with something “ and then for the dive team to show up and ask if you wanted to go along! He Could have floated be tucked under a rock ledge somewhere where sonar won't pick it up. Might just dive some potential areas just in case.

of course i don't know at all but, if he parked his car by the river, it doesn't mean that he went in it. Did anybody search the woods around the area?
I really love that 90% of these states that you guys go to the law enforcement is so civilized on what you're doing and unlike those one officers they were just so rude and so obnoxious so it's a good thing that most of them know what you're doing is a good thing and they don't act like you're out there stepping on their toes.
This was very interesting. They shared some details about what to look for when searching for someone outside a vehicle. I wish there was a way to share more of that type of content but youtube may not be the best outlet. Maybe put up a website with tips on how to search, equipment, etc. You could blog cases, share maps, link to flyers...run ads and affiliate links to gain some money. I am probably not the only one pulling up google earth after watching your videos. Great video. Thanks.
Wouldn't the most likely area be the shore line. After a few day the body will float and the wind and current would move it to the shore line. Too many unknowns. Great job on putting the time and effort in trying to find him.
You know your doing good thing and are good at what you do when they come to you to learn what they know and also learn from you.. Keep up the good work
omg that is so cool they let you tag along even though the circumstances are sad and they knew who you were! that's when you know you are making it/positive impact. I also wanted to say that you shouldn't feel like a failure when you don't find anything/anyone, the fact that you are searching alone is amazing and like Jared says you are clearing places off the list. I still am amazed at you solving that 21 year old case of Erin and Jeremy and if you hadn't been searching, clearing and ticking possibilities off the list you wouldn't have found them!
What a difference between law enforcement that is transparent and welcoming your help and law enforcement that is standoffish and unwelcoming...I truly believe you have found your calling.. what an honor to give closure to these families....upmost respect and blessings to you and yours...thank you

As you and your friends become better known I see the police are friendly and more willing to work with you I can only say it is a win win it makes them look better more like they are there to help the public and it improves your chance to find the missing ones God knows it is about time there is something positive we can see

Jacob, Chaos Divers, dove on a rock that looked like a car. Down Under Dan Diving also dove on a big rock that looked like a car. It happens just note it's gps location if it's a rock. That way you won't dive on it again if you have to search the area again.
Jeremy dear there is nothing crude about it you are trying to find someone's loved one you are what you're doing is so godly dude seriously don't never think what you're doing is is a bad thing or sounds like it's a bad thing there's really no softer way to put it
I love that local LEO invited you along. I think the first video I watched when I stumbled across AWP and your channel was the one with the LEO who was not very nice and I was so angry about that! Now you guys have really started making headlines (kudos btw!!!) they are coming to realize what an asset you guys really are. I'm curious, what happened with the car? And the barrel? Will there be more video of this area to come?
This is awesome, that they let you go out with them. I would live that, you can learn so much from the about bodies in water, plus you can teach them about cars and how to see them.
