You, Sir, are a true fisherman. You don’t care what you catch, you just wanna catch. I respect that. A lot of time when I go to my sportsman’s club, I throw a bead headed streamer into the pond just to see what is hitting. Mostly panfish, but I get the occasional bass, trout or pickerel.

I mostly fish ponds and lakes but I’ve always been fascinated with creek fishing. Just walkin or driving by a little stream and wondering what lives in there...it has its own mystique. There’s a BEAUTIFUL creek near me that connects two larger ponds. Its average depth is probably a foot but it’s got a million little hiding spots and I’ve taken some 3-4 pound bass out of it...I know I’ll eventually take at least a 5 there. It’s a perfect habitat for ambush predators and it’s fished by very few people. That’s the magic equation when it comes to creek fishing

I first learned about your channel from Justin at Kayak Catfish. I love what you do! I grew up in very rural areas of Texas and I fished every little creek and drainage around. The fish were rarely of any size but there is a thrill to catching fish in small bodies of water. It brings back lots of memories. Like 80’s music, I appreciate your adventures and your efforts!

That creek is a prime example of water that ultra- and micro- light rods and reels are made for! Your light action rod is nice, but a noodle rod would make each catch feel and act like a monster. Especially when into a lot of pan fish. Oh, man, do I want to join you there! Stay well and tight lines!

Hey CFA, today I buyed the fire tiger and yellow Crick hopper, and the rebel craw and Trac down minnow, and went down to the trout streams up in Roanoke Virginia, and I caught 7 rainbow trout on the firetiger Crick hopper, it was awesome! I love your videos man and keep reeling them in! Never stop fishing!
Dude that’s awesome, there are a few trout creeks around here but you can’t use treble hooks on lures. I’m going to find somewhere to catch some trout on the crickhopper
I carry minimal gear when I walk creeks. I have a small plastic box from Walmart with a little plastic loop that I use to carabiner to a belt loop. Keeps it out of my pockets. Just gotta make sure it’s closed good or you’ll dump it all out on the ground
Love fish little creeks...I hadn't don't thst since I was a teen...but always good to go do some creek fish...there a creek behind my house I like to hit up...good fishing keep up the great work..
Great relaxing video. Great narrating. I enjoy targeting light tackle multi species in a small river I live near. Once it's gotten warm enough, the bass, redbreasts, bluegill, crappie, pumpkinseeds, rock bass, and yellow perch really turn on. I love the way those little redbreasts pull and how aggressive they are for their size.
@@CreekFishingAdventures I bank fish numerous ponds and small lakes, along with a few small to medium sized rivers. I enjoy the fun of using a 5'6" medium powered spinning rod with a Fierce 2000 and 6 pound mono or braid. I get to target all kinds of fish, throw many different lures, and get a good fight out of some bigger fish, such as a 25.5" 4.7 pound chain pickerel I caught earlier this month.
I absolutely love creek fishing I’m actually going today I have a nice very little creek behind my house the is actually like 2 pound bass in there fun to catch!
I live in Washington and fishing has been shut down because of the Corona virus and it's prime time for Rainbow Trout in the lakes here.We'll find out in a few days if fishing gets opened up.We'll have to watch videos until then.

Good video. My blood doesn't circulate anymore, so I haven't been fishing yet. Wouldn't go today, anyway. It's three thirty in the afternoon and sunny, but it's also forty-four degrees, and there's a strong wind gusting out of the north east. Spring can be really warm or downright rigid up here, and this one is leaning toward frigid so far. It is supposed to hit fifty-nine a couple of days next week, and then get colder again. Guess spring fishing is going to have to wait for at least two or three weeks. For me, at least.

Yes it’s looking like for the most part the weather is finally heading in the right direction. I was able to fish a little bit last weekend but didn’t have much luck. Hopefully that’ll change this weekend. Great video 👍🏻
@@CreekFishingAdventures yeah, my dad started us out on a cane pole and red breast is one of the fish we caught the most, alone with bass, catfish, Pike, bream, warmouth needless to say I've been fishing for 30 plus years and haven't looked back.
Hey Creek fishing guy. I'm real old. When I fished I was always fishing for larger fish but on youtube I see lots of people fishing for what we would have called bait. Things change.

I prefer to fish creeks, North Arkansas has some good ones, and a lot of creeks. I used to catch some, that looked like a hybred of green sunfish / blue gill in one of the creeks.
YEAH MAN I THINK SOMETIMES THE HIGH WATER CAN PUSH FISH INTO THE AREA, AND SOMETIMES IT CAN MOVE THE FISH OUT OF THE AREA, BUT THAT'S WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT ,GOOD JOB MAN 👍
You should try fly fishing. The fly options available for small creek fishing with a fly rod are endless and small bass and sunfish will crush flies all day long
@@CreekFishingAdventures Nice video; Those treeless, open areas would give you a great place to cast a fly. A 10 dollar fly vice, some marabou and hooks and not much more and you could tie a zillion wooley buggers. A bit of craft foam and you can tie a zillion poppers. .......plenty of YT vids to show ya how.
