Oh wow, I had a very similar start just a few days ago - floor 0 apotheosis, floor 5 searing blow. It was a very fun run. Edit: but I did not manage to get every single upgrade event/relic, nor get them to hit Searing Blow. Jorbs is obviously a filthy lucker.

he had calipers. its a relic that makes it so instead of losing all your block, it just reduces it by 15.
