The Three Stooges are iconic both on the big screen and on Television. They are one of the greatest comedy teams of all kind. I have decided to run through some interesting facts, bloopers, flubs, production notes, and HARD TO BELIEVE INFORMATION! I am starting with the first short and moving through the line. Great video. I have this on DVD and one blooper i spotted is when the beer barrels are rolling and chasing the Stooges, at one point Moe jumps on one and does like a log rolling movements trying to stay on top of the barrel. When he jumps and is on the barrel, the wires holding him are visible and can be seen above him.

there's a LOT of bloopers in the shorts because they were made on a small budget so Columbia didn't want to spend money correcting things that people probably wouldn't notice anyway. However mistakes involving the stooges themselves were rare (for instance-they show Moe, Larry & Curly then the camera shows something else then the stooges again only now it's Curly, Moe & Larry) because they started out acting on stage in front of an audience where things like that were noticeable.

WEB: Bud Jamison (February 15, 1894 - September 30, 1944), was an American film actor. He appeared in 450 films between 1915 and 1944. Bud Jamison had a superb tenor singing voice, and loved to sing when the cameras were not rolling. Talking pictures gave producers a chance to exploit his singing, and for the rest of his career he would occasionally be called upon to vocalize in films. A brief series of color travelogues, filmed in 1930, featured Bud Jamison and comic Jimmie Adams as "The Rolling Stones," two singing vagabonds seeing the country. Jamison would even be hired just for his singing, as in "Pot o' Gold" where he plays a vagrant who harmonizes in jail.

In this short, Panther Pilsner Beer Co. got its name from the slang term for cheaply brewed beer "panther piss".

"Pilsner" refers to a city now in the Czech Republic, known as Plzeň to the Czechs and Pilsen to the Germans.

Makes me wonder what those beer barrels were made of ...paper mache? I have a bottle of Panther Beer with the 3 Stooges on the label. I don't think real beer is in it but we'll never know.... no one's allowed to uncap the bottle. I would love to see the one where they make their own beer. We ALL put the yeast in lol :o)

Your Beer was most likely sold in the late 1990s out of Utica NY by Utica Club Brewery (AKA Panther Brewing Company). There were two Stooge Beers, Three Stooges Beer and Three Stooges Curly's Light.
