Season 1 Sucks - Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League 

This was exactly the same mentality that they used Middle Earth: Shadow of War did on the final chapter of the game. They made the final chapter so long, grindy and hard to the point where the players would spend money on the really good orcs just to beat the level. Reminder that SOW is a SINGLE PLAYER game.

@@usgatlas2085 I disagree on your shadow on war take. No offense but whoever started to spread this nonsense never played the game actively. I was active in this community since day 1 till 2023. in the bottom of my comment I wrote a very short summary. Shadow of War did have loot boxes but you didn't need them at all. Look at the different platforms. PC players could cheat everything. And I mean everything. They could get the gear they want, even mix primary effects of other gears into another one which can not be achieved without cheats. So they could create custom weapons and therefore get more op weapons than even whales could cash. Pc Players could cheat levels and ingame money as well. They could also create custom orcs. 7 immunities, 7 rages, no weaknesses, tons epic traits you get the point. Normally a legendary orc is limited to two epic traits. You can glitch up to 5 (it's the highest I have seen on console and that was just once) but it's random and almost never happens. There is a 3 epic glitch but it's not worth it because it involved caragors So pc players can create custom orcs which are even stronger orcs than whales can even cash. They don't get banned for any this if they do the cheats offline. I spent 20€ on loot boxes once to see if money really gets you something in this game. I got not a single good orc. The orc I transferred from shadow of mordor for instance was much better. 4 7 7 5 berserker beast. The orcs you get from the real money loot chests might be legendary but their treats were random. Legendary orcs, apart from having two epic traits, do not have more and better traits than epic and normal ones by nature. Most of my strongest orcs started as normal ones. You could still destroy the legendary bought ones for weapons though. Speaking of weapons. The weapons you could buy from loot real money chests were legendary. Since legendary is the highest class you think they are best weapons. They also have set bonuses after all. The only real good legendary set is the vendetta one which you get for free by doing special missions which are easy to do and not linked to any dlc content. You have two sets which are linked to a dlc but they are trash and you can get them for free by recruiting orcs of those tribes from online sieges and destroy them for weapons. The only other legendary set that is good is the Marauder one. The true good builds are mixed ones between legendary and epic. Epic weapons can be stronger than legendary ones and can be obtained from normal and epic orcs who are the lowest tiers. The best swords for instance. 1. wrathgiver. It's a epic sword. This is a bugged sword which gives you infinite wrath. 2. humiliator. 3. vendetta sword. So the top 3 swords are freely obtainable with the top 2 being epic. Console players could do a glitch, uploaded on youtube by uruks hollow fairly early on (he heavily focusses on finding those kind of things and also shares what other players find), which allowed you to clone loot chests bought by ingame money to a infinite amount. Those chests, while having a lower probability, could get you everything real money chests could. The probability is not much lower. You could also clone your orcs. So all you needed for a strong fortress in every region was one strong orc. You find normal and epic orcs all the time. A legendary orc is not instantly stronger than a epic or normal one. He just has two epic traits. A normal orc can spawn with more positive and less negative ones and be stronger than a legendary orc, especially with dual wespons carrying berserkers being by far the strongest orcs in the game. Later they brought in epic and legendary orders which you can obtain very easily. You can also recruit orcs of other players without them losing theirs. So you can build a strong army and garrison without money and much effort. I reached the point where I had to much money I couldn't spend on anything besides orders and wished that they would at least bring back the ingame money loot chests which they removed in the last update alongside the real money loot chests. Real money in games I would argue matter mainly in online gameplay. There are two modes. 1. you can do online 1v1 orc. The orcs are so badly programmed in this one that even the most op orc could lose to a bad one. I had this happen. 6 7 7 7 orc who died against a epic one. Sometimes an opponents orc is stunned and your orc will just stand there. If he has bodyguards he will usually barely attack till they are dead while the enemy orc (in case he has no bodyguards) will focus on your orc. 2. you have online sieges. in online sieges you + 6 orcs you choose + a army of grunts ( + some siege effects) attack fortresses of other players featuring 3 orcs on each siege point in the throne. The thing is that Talion is way to op for this game. If you know how to play this game, you can even go into a fortress of the strongest orcs by yourself and still finish in gold time unless they have unbreakable. If they have unbreakable you will finish at silver or bronze. I did this tons of times. I went in there, recruited the orcs of the enemies and finished in gold. As a player you never played against the other player directly. You just attack his fortress. You killing or permanently recruiting his 21 orcs do not impact his gameplay. Those orcs are still alive in his game. He just loses 25 online points in his defense rating which honestly doesn't matter. Even if your defense is very bad, having the max level rating (not points) is easy to keep. So it's not like those strategy games where whales can attack you often and destroy months of your progress. Final chapter was fairly easy. sieges can be easily won by just recruiting the other orcs and putting them in your army and repeating that step. Defense sieges are easy. Your build can shine because there are so many grunts you can use to charge up wrath and might fast. You can also use a bodyguard and beast based on the opponents weaknesses. To summarize. While shadow of war had loot boxes you could buy with real money, they didn't matter. Pc players could cheat more op stuff than any real money could get you and console players can clone everything - something pc players can also do. So even without real money you could easily obtain everything something with real money could.

@@mariowarion People say "I ain't reading that novel" but I read this little essay because I got Shadow of War on launch day and to this day still play it regularly and I appreciate people defending it when a lot of people just see the former microtransactions and bundle it up with garbage like this

@usgatlas2085 I don't know if the other guy said this but you did not need to buy lootbox orcs in shadow of war,the end game was grindy but not to ridiculous degree.plus there's a difficulty slider that you could change anytime free of charge

@@Grunch_Morrisonx123 it's sad because shadow of war is the type of game which has microtransactions but they have barely any impact. Isn't that much better than in many other games? I don't know if I remember this correctly but didn't your set difficulty impact the damage enemy orcs do in online sieges?

I just wish they got Mark Hamil to voice Joker in this game, I don’t care that this is a different version of the Joker, they still should have used him. Or Troy Baker since he did an excellent job in Arkham Origins.

It was absolutely intentional, no doubt in my mind.

They might stop it in the third season, after the next season flops, because no one’s playing six hours of grinding just to unlock female Mr. freeze. That’s when I think they’ll fix it a little bit for the next season, when their player numbers don’t go up like they did for this season.

From the Suicide Squad Assault on Arkham animated film to the tie in prequel comic relating to this game, it's a mess. I'm just confused on which "Justice League universe" you were referring to. Either the Bruce Timm Justice League/ JL Unlimited, the Injustice universe, or the DCEU Justice League.

@@tacticoolgun I am a DC fan, I grew up with Batman, when are you announcing, It was going to be a live service video game, I was in rage, and refused to buy it. when I saw what they done to Batman, to the justice league, and give me about this hypocritical bullshit like sexual harassing dead shot yet kept talking down to their male audience about women wearingerotic clothing, this game was clearly designed by people who absolutely hates their fans, and wanted to use it to discriminate and continue on the division, taking place in the USA. What they done is unforgivable, and I will never support rocksteady ever again.

Since it was Joker, there should have been a few new missions where he hunts innocent people or not really helps the suicide squad. It could give him some interesting psychopathic tendencies as a character, y'know? Oh well....

Assuming anything here was true, just do the math. One mission will give you one level, one and a half max. Considering you need to level up to 35, that is 35 of these missions. At 5 minutes a piece, most of which are WAY longer than that, that is still a minimum of 3 hours. And considering you also have to wait through the long mission complete and loot obtaining screens, they're gonna be even longer than that. Furthermore, the +1 and +2 missions on the map completely disappear after you complete them, meaning you're left with more basic missions that only give half a level worth of XP. Believe me, I tried optimizing this over the 6 hours it spent grinding, and nothing worked except more grinding.

Isn that impossible? I'm certain he only shows up after The Arkham Knight is defeated.
