my colleague Erik looks a lot like larry there are 3 of us in our workspace and to say that our humor and actions have a passing glance to the three stooges is an understatement we live a slapstick live in that little room and bruises are common but, all in good fun we haven't had bad air between us ever.

I remember this episode from my childhood when the Three Stooges episodes were aired as a part of The Dr. Max Show on WMT weekday afternoons. Puzzled as to why you haven't seen it in syndication. Loved his arrow gun. Thanks for bringing back the memories of watching this episode.

I saw the Stooges in 1963 in Toronto They broke the attendance record up to that point at The Canadian National Exhibition Curly- Joe was with them They were all so tiny My favorite Larry had flaming orange hair ( Like our other favorite redhead )

What gets me is Monty Collins' character yanks the rope that causes the bed to spin around, but there's nothing visible to keep the Stooges in bed. So how were they able to stay in place while the bed spun around?

My guess is that they were held in place with ropes or something that was under the bed 🛏 covers.

I've seen this one, a few times. They've shown it on MeTV, they show them for two hours every Saturday night. And Curiy Joe never made any Stooges shorts, he made movies with them. It was Joe Besser made shorts with Moe and Larry.

Open yo Mouth and say AH.. (Stuffs the brush) Ah.. You can see Larry was frustrated when Moe just piles them up on Larry's mouth. It's hilarious. Also Curly's Falling Roar is just too raw.

I remember this one. This episode was in the rotation of the Saturday night block I watched in the early 80's on KPLR 11 in St Louis sponsored by The Waterbed Store lol.

This is one of my favourites, we had this on tape when I was a child and I loved it, it was not until I got it on DVD though did I know they edited some of the scenes for the TV release.

They do run this short on T.V. on occasions. I have seen it on MeTV. You should also check out Shemp's, Joe Besser's and Joe DeRita's solo Columbia shorts as well.

This short was recently shown on METV+ during the week of July 17, 2022, in their two-hour classic comedy block, which airs Monday through Friday between 1 AM and 3 AM Eastern. Yes, I did indicate AM. METV+ is the new sister station of METV.

On METV 📺 in Michigan The 3️⃣ Stooges are shown every Saturday starting at 8️⃣:0️⃣0️⃣🅿️Ⓜ️ for 2️⃣ hours.

This is an odd duck episode, in some ways. The mood swings of the mom seem to mimic Moe, to me. The shaving scene was a little odd too. The crowbar scene was great to me. Curly's reactions. And yes, all the things you pointed out too! Thanks

I'm sure that Rick pointed out, is that the Stooges remade at least one Curly short with Joe B. years later. Many of the background characters repeated their performances.

Isn't this the one where Curly backs into a cactus and they're having to pry the cactus needles out of his backside, and it sounds like their prying tenpenny nails out of oak? That's one of the funniest bits to me. In a later short, they repeat the process when Moe gets carpet tacks shot into his backside by an automatic rifle courtesy of Larry and Shemp fighting over who gets to use the rifle. Same sound effects of prying tenpenny nails out of oak. 🤣 Of course, firing carpet tacks out of a rifle, automatic or semi-auto, is utterly ridiculous, but who cares? IT'S FUNNY.

Curly-Joe shorts?? I think you meant to say Joe Besser. Curly-Joe DeRita came after Besser and after the Stooges had finished their contract with Columbia.

IT WAS ON SIDNACATION. WHEN I WAS KID. I REMEMBER WATCHEN THIS WITH FREIND IN BOSTON 1985 HE DIED OF AIDS YEARS AFTER I LEFT. I ALLWAYS REMEMBER THIS ONE BEING AT MANSION.

Vernon Dent, Bud Jamison & Emil Sitka could have been Stooges in their own right! The chemistry between them and the Stooges was absolutely incredible! Believe It or not Emil Sitka's very first appearance was Half Wits Holiday which happened to be Curly's final short! Bud Jamison actually died in 1946 which is the same year that Curly made his exit! The eye poke was meant to be aimed in the brow bone but with the speed it's done in, it looks realistic! I've been a Stooge fan since I was 4 years old and I've done so much research ever since! You also need to subscribe to "Curly's Grandson" he's Curly Howard's youngest grandson and his videos often feature Chandler Issac who us Shemp's great granddaughter!

Honestly I don't know how anyone can tell between a blooper and the normal slapstick that they did. Even the bloopers are funny and seem like they were scripted.
