I also think your plans are excellent. Love to see the best parts of Norway this summer. I also must say, I have never seen you so happy Kenneth! It brings me joy and great satisfaction!! Wishing you both the best summer🎉 Stay warm and safe 🎉🎉
Thanks 😊 It’ll be interesting to see how this goes. I’ve seen most of the places before, but the landscape in Norway is always changing, so I’m excited to see what it looks like this time 😛
Great plan Kenneth and Marion! I was thinking I would like to see more of Norway's great roads. I have just returned to Australia from northern Norway - 1 week in Svalbard (very cold) and 2 weeks skiing around Narvik (superb mountains) so I won't be able to have a coffee with you but I would love to see more of Norway's motorcycle roads. I rode my K100 from Oslo to Bergen across the Hardangervidda and along the Hardangerfjord at the end of six months motorcycling in Europe in 1985. This was the best route of the entire trip. My daughter loved Bergen when we visited there in 2018. Could be worth in thinking about for your itinerary.
Sounds like a good plan. There is so much to see. But the real accomplishment is finishing a phd in a foreign country after 5 years. I only have a bachelor's degree and will never continue. All the best❤
That sounds like fabulous travel plans. Unfortunately, I live in the US so can't meet up for a coffee but will enjoy watching your travels through Norway. 🙂
@@RidetheBean we'd love to. Riding down to Croatia end of June into July, via Begium 1st night and Luxembourg last night. We'll be watching your schedule carefully!
Wish You an awesome summer together on your trip, will be epic. Would love a coffee somewhere if i will take a trip in Norway, most likely i will to some extent. Keep it up!
I think it's a good plan Kenneth and I love the fjords and mountain passes but also all turquoise lakes, waterfalls, rivers, glaciers and not the least all the steep mountains which rise directly from the fjords and lakes straight to the sky. One thing I think you should do is to ride also a little more to the east since you seem to have not placed the route over for example the spectacular Jotunheimen national park or Grimsdalen in Rondane national park? It's a little hard to see exactly what you have covered but I guess you will also pass all the mandatory "tourist traps" and also Lovatnet, Oldevatnet including the Briksdalsbreen glacier, Gaularfjellet, Flåm and more... Many of my favorites are not the most well known since there are gems of different kind literally in every valley or surrounding any fjord 😊 The amazingly beautiful Eikesdalsvatnet and Aursjøvegen with the very dramatic steep and high mountains surrounding Sunndalsøra is another of my favorites. I have covered about 25 000 km in Norway the last five seasons of which probably 16 000 km have been in the southern part from Seljord/ Evje/ Stavanger in south to Oppdal/ Sunndalsøra in the north 😋 On May 9-13 I will make my spring trip and then probably a longer one around end of June (Midsummer weekend and the week after). Normally also a weekend in early September but we'll see this year... Should have been very nice to meet you and Marion or just you during one of my visits to Norway this season 👍 If so I would buy you a good cup of coffee and something tasty to that (= fika 😉👌)
Yeah those are all places I’m thinking of visiting. The route on the map was not specific. Just general direction. I’ll do my best to find all the gems I know of 😝 If you happen to be near me on one of your trips I’d love to meet for a coffee 😛 I’ll be posting more or less daily on instagram where I am traveling, so if you see me near by shoot me a message
When you come back to Trondheim, and the weather is ok, stop by at Cirkle K Klett. Always alot of bikers there in the afternoon for a coffee or ice cream. Today we were 8 bikes meeting up. Starting to get really popular meeting there.
will be fun to follow your summer rides in Scandinavia and northern Europe. Aloha from Hawaii...(a tip, a nice motorcycle road trip through the Hawaiian islands might also be something you should consider in the future)..-)
When visiting Belgium, don’t forget to stop by in the most beautiful city Ghent. I’d love to join you for a coffee and show you around this hidden pearl!
Hehe yeah that’s a nice place. Maybe. Depends on exactly where we end up going. It’s a bit out of the way from where aim thinking, but who knows…? 🤷🏼♂️😛
Really interested in seeing a local rider perspective. Heading over from the UK and I will be at Kristiansand on the 4th June. Traveling up to Geiranger, Trollstigen pass then to the Atlantic Road before heading back down to Bergen. Thereafter to Oslo. May cross paths. Safe journey.
Cool! That’s a nice trip. You should come up to Trondheim before turning south though. Only a few hours from the end of the Atlantic Ocean road. And you’ll get to see the most beautiful city in Norway 😝
I live in Great Falls Montana (United States), and Im Jealous!! I would love to meet you for Coffee in Norway. Ride SAFE & Stay Humble!! Love your videos...
Oh noooo it's too late - or I am too early.. :D Starting my journey through norway in the beginning of May meaning I would be in Kristiansand in the first week of May somewhere. Maybe another time I guess...? Nice update, hopefully will see you (two) some time, see you soon!
@@RidetheBeanFrom Germany, taking the Ferry from Hirtshals in Denmark. I am taking the whole of May to go the southern coastal roads from Kristiansand up to Oslo and continue through Sweden down southwards, Gothenburg, Malmö and Copenhagen and back home through Denmark and Germany, of course. So the start of my trip is somewhat of in the southern reach of your trip plans but isn’t it way too early? I would be there around 08. or 10. of May, if everything is going to plan.
Quel beau projet !
Absolutely lovely vlog, brilliant well made. The Spring in your country is majestic, you really have some awsome plans. You should try visit my country, Portugal, we have some great things to see. Im sure that vlogging in Portugal wiil be on your bucklist. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, just liked and subscribed, Greetings from Portugal to Norway.
Oh my god, l’m really jealous, but it will be fun to follow you through the summer. There will be a lot of great nature and fun roads here. It will also be nice to meet Marion on parts of the trip.
Yeah I love both 😛 we’ll see what we find time for when we get there. What I do know is that Marion will show me her favorite coffee shop in the city we go to 😛

@@marionstravels6641 Oh that's lovely! Nevermind me, you know enough already! I'd love to hear more about your Phd by the way, maybe you can talk a bit more about it on the next guided history tour?
I’m not sure. I’m thinking about it but I’m not sure exactly how. I know I can record with my gps, but the export is horrible… and if I record my route every day it’s a lot of extra work that doesn’t really give me any return… 🫤 If you have an idea for how I can easily do it I’d love to hear it 😛
Super plan, would love to meet you guys, but I am having chemotherapy started end of april, so I fear that I will not be able to join you, aniway I will follow you on RU-vid. Have fun.
Oh that sucks… hope you are feeling ok and getting better. I don’t know where you are, butIf you do feel up for it I’d love to swing by for a coffee and a chat if I pass nearby.
I probably do 😅 Last time I was there I camped up by the fortress 😂 Shoot me a message in the beginning of may and we could at least have a coffee at Sval 😛
I'm a danish guy, living on Karmøy pretty near Haugesund. You're welcome to contact me when you're in the area and maybe I can give you some tips about Copenhagen and Denmark in general 🙂. And I love coffee ☕😅
