bullseye could still take place before percy’s predicament because thomas was absent from the episode which he should be since he’s still at the works after his accident.
Season 4 (and 5) is my absolute favorite season of the show due to its comforting feel with slice of life and emotional moments, especially given how it's the final Awdry season with all RWS material adapted (not counting S20). Even when it aired on the Family Specials of Shining Time Station, it still has heartfelt moments within them. I respect your opinion about the episode finale choice or the order of stories, though there isn't an episode that I dislike. Even if there are a few that could've been a little tweaked, they are not bad stories for me. I wouldn't say if it did remind me of Hamtaro cause at the end of the first three seasons there is always some sort of dream episode which I'm not a fan of where Laura or the hamsters dream of being parodied versions of Classic fairytales. They kinda feel like filler episodes to me, and could've easily been replaced w/ others like a few undubbed episodes that give more lore to the characters, though it's too much to explain so I can't go in too much detail or we'd be here all day. My community posts of Hamtaro can explain that. I do have an AU of how to make this season great: The Narrow-Gauge and Stepney episodes remain the same (w/ Old Faithful Skarloey, my title for Four Little Engines, being placed after Sir Handel and Peter Sam's episodes), Thomas & the Special Letter still remains as the 100th episode and Fish being the 24th episode. For the others, I would put Oliver Gets the Bird, Gale Warning, Trucks for Scrap, Gordon Goes Foreign, Stop Thief and Percy to the Rescue in each of the other leftover adaptations' places.
My biggest issue with season 4 is how Four Little Engines is placed before a Bad Day for Sir Handel when it’s meant to take place after Peter Sam and the Refreshment Lady. Anyways yeah the last 8 episodes do kinda feel like filler compared to the narrow gauge and Stepney episodes.
The only order I would go with is ones from the railway series books, like such as Little Old Twins from The Little Old Engine, Crosspatch, Bucking Bronco and Stick-in-the-Mud from Very Old Engines, Super Rescue from Enterprising Engines, Stop Thief! and Triple-Header from Really Useful Engines, Pop-Special and Peter Sam and the Prickly Problem from Great Little Engines, Drip Tank from More About Thomas the Tank Engine, Mavis and the Lorry from Toby, Trucks and Trouble, Trevor Helps Out from Thomas and the Twins, Snow Problem from Thomas Comes Home, Golden Jubilee from Thomas and the Fat Controller's Engines and finally Out of Puff, Overhaul and Henry Sees Red from Henry and the Express, would these make good episodes of Thomas & Friends Season Four?
Great point, I love your reordering My biggest issue with S4 is the continuity being all over the place, quite a lot of episodes I rated highly deserved a 10/10 but I just couldn't give them it due to continuity errors
Maybe if per season could have had 28 episodes like Series 10 in the new series or even 30 episodes at the most then we could have room for the missing adaptions, I also wish more of Christopher Awdry's stories had adaptions, he wrote so many meaningful stories.
Personally i don't mind the mind that bike episode being the last episode of season 4 Though i think that's because i grew up with the episode and it's nostalgia to me

because, I switched some episodes out simply because they felt more in place with other episodes. For example, James & The Express is switched with Paint, Pots & Queens because it felt more in place with season 1.@@spiderfan2003
