Season 5 Abbasid Guide - Age of Empires 4 

What is your opinion on the BO? Drongo is doing an outstanding job by presenting the BO, but he presents it as an universal BO (or at least beginners could misinterpret it as such) The BO seems extremely good against Civs who look for map control, like French, Mongol, Delhi (maybe ottomans) or against a fast castling HRE. However, against defensive civs like Chinese, English or Rus the classical eco boom seems more efficient. I am also quite fond of a FC (culture into military wing) with the new ghulam unit, now shredding villagers and unarmoured units.

@@t3ss33 AoE4 is at a point where you need a different build order for specific match ups and maps. I think this build works great as an aggressive option and VortiX is obviously one of the best so I would imagine he spent time refining what you see here.

I went from an hre MMA spammer in season 4 to a ghulam spammer this season.

@@haaaaaaaank they are so good, much more effective than MAA at raiding and with training camps... My lord are they tanky.

@@haaaaaaaank HRE MAA owns Ghulams. Test it, they basically nerfed MMA for Ab.

@@ForggeEsportsNutrition Please show where it displays the amount of opponent's resources. Have you read before leaving a snarky comment? Or you think a player interested in build orders doesn't know where the resources are displayed?

If you know a few build orders and can execute them, I recommend to try sometime PvP, it's pretty fun!

Mongols got a perk where when pillaging you gain resources I believe (I dont play mongols but I am pretty sure it's one of their key features of a civ)
