I was watching that game live as it happened and was wondering how rare a play like that is? To throw it all the way down the court with one second left!
There is a play in most coaches play book call the laettner. two players line up at the division line. and two back at free throw extended. The free throw extended players come up and screen and the division line player are open just enough to catch. I saw the play this weekend. However, it didn't work- Come on, ref sarge
@@COR_Academy It doesn't seem like it would work very often. In part because a basketball doesn't have the kind of long distance aerodynamics like you would have with a football. I am glad I know the term of that play now so I can look up more about it.
