This is actually the second time this has happened. People forget that the first fan translation of AAI2 was a translated RU-vid playthrough. In that, Sebastian/Eustace was called "Raymond Furst" because he was "Furst-Rayte". Im working on a video going over the history of the fan translations and comparing them.

Pre-Sebastian Debeste was once Raymond Furst, Pre-Ray Shields was once Atticus Stalwart (or Uncle Atty) and Patricia Roland was once Jennifer Reese. And besides. We’ve had worse pun names. For me, Eustace Winner is a real antipod of our friend Sebastian: he is a real genius prosecutor, the young man who achieved everything by himself. However, there's one obstacle: he was born in poor family of Bernard "Bernie" Winner, worker of the factory which makes lighters. He has a heart of gold, but merely can do something to repay his son's achievements. And that poverty hit Eustace hard enough: because of Blaise Debesete's power Themis Academy was forced to let only one student to pass exams with flying colours - his stupid son, Sebastian Debeste. Yeah, Eustace made it, but he got plenty of "B's" because of Debeste family. He knew this information from professors, but they were too afraid of Blaise to change his marks. So... Eustace came up with a plan: he decided to steal the life of real Sebastian... Literally. At one night, he kidnapped Sebastian and placed him in the box of Debeste's garage (because the best place to hide something is the most obvious, he thought). Then, he got a wig (no need for clothes, because he had the same uniform as Themis Academy student) and the last thing to do was pretending to be an idiot, which is really a simple task. Although, the plan was perfect, in I2-5, Edgeworth by coincidence rescues real Sebastian, and than our Eustace vanished in the thin air...

On the Ace Attorney Wiki they announced the new Names of some characters (Read at own risk) Souta Sarushiro - Simeon Saint. This is nice because dowolf named this character also Simeon in his Translation. I like it way more than Simon Keyes, mainly because I don't like when 2 characters in a Franchise have the first name, and the true Simon is Blackquill 😁) Manosuke Naitou - Bronco Knight. Marii Miwa - Fifi Laguarde (a corrupt woman gets a very similar name to the ECB Lady... nah just a coincidence 😂) Ryouken Houinbou - Bodhidharma Kanis (WTF, I thought Nahyuta Sadhmadhi was a complicated name) Shuuji Orinaka - Rocco Carcerato (yay for Italia 😊)
