He still holds the records for younger pole and youngest world champion, but all his other youngest records have been broken by Max Verstappen

Lewis won four in a row too. 2017-2020. And Michael Schumacher had five in a row, 2000-2004.

Thanks for reacting to my favorite driver man! Enjoying the F1 videos and can’t wait for you to keep learning more. I know you here it a lot as well but definitely Fernando Alonso is on the list to react. He’s been in the sport for 20+ years and is the oldest driver on the grid. He’s still performing at a insanely high level for being in his 40’s so definitely check out his top 10 moments of brilliance

Take this video with a grain of salt. There are loads of misinformation such as Schumacher handing the position he needed to win the championship. He’s already in the position to take the championship by about 1 point. There are a ton of context we’d to be added such as the top 3, where his car’s damage is mostly from the floor and the exhaust, which made majority of the downforce at the time. Which means he’s amongst the slowest cars in the dry. He didn’t drop to the back once, he dropped to the back about 3 times partly due his car being too slow. When it rained, he’s able lapped over 1sec faster than everyone in a broken car, and it’s the very reason he’s able to win the championship. There are tons of traits they didn’t even bother to mention that made Vettel one of the all time greats int he first place. His ability to get up to speed immediately made him nearly impossible to challenge. Be it a midfield car like in Australia 2016 or his first win at Monza. One of the best examples in qualifying are China 2009 where he had only one run to set the fastest lap due to transmission problem, whereas others can afford to run 3-4 times., and he got pole. He once lapped over 2secs faster than everyone else in the dry, and nearly lapped the entire field in Singapore 2013, which is beyond comprehension in the modern standards. A godly lap is consistently lapping over 0.7sec faster, and he’s lapping more than 2x as fast.

Seb is such a legend. And why he switch the teams? Well it`s hard enough to get a seat in F1 but it`s even harder to succed in different teams (one thing that Hamilton never risks). Aaaand I think every little racing kid dreams about to race for the Ferrari F1 Team. It`s like the cherry on the cake. Also Seb is a very funny entertainer and also big in environment friendly developments. He really is a good human.

Wdym Hamilton never risks moving team. McLaren to Mercedes was a bigger risk than nearly all driver moves

@@miztazed yes but it’s not the same team. It’s like if Verstappen went from Redbull to Renault in 2018. He moved from a championship contender to a midfield team.

@@miztazed if Russel moved from MERCEDES to Williams MERCEDES would that not be a risk

Yo you should react to a video comparing the different sound of F1 engines over the years (i.e. V6, V8, V10, and V12)

Vettel switched from Red Bull to Ferrari because there was a massive change to the regulations. Which happens every couple of years to, in theory, have better racing or at least change up the grid order. In this case, in 2014 onwards the rules around the engines were changed. Which caused Red Bull to lose their spot as the best team at the time to Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari looked stronger than Red Bull in 2014 to Vettel. And with his contract expiring at the end of 2014, he chose to switch to Ferrari, hoping he’d have more luck there. As for Ferrari to Aston Martin. That is a lot more complex. But the shortest answer was Ferrari was losing patience/interest in Sebastian Vettel. And instead choosing to prioritise their new prodigy, Charles Leclerc. So Ferrari chose to replace Vettel with Carlos Sainz to team with Charles Leclerc. Meaning Vettel had no seat for 2021. Until, the father of F1 driver Lance Stroll (his father Lawrence Stroll, who’s worth a cool $40 billion) bought the team Lance was racing for. And they wanted a driver who was a world champion to be Lance’s teammate. Enter Vettel to join Lance at Aston. And getting rid of Sergio Perez. While that was going on, Red Bull was losing patience with Max’s teammate at the time, Alex Albon. Who wasn’t performing as well as they wanted. So they got rid of Albon and brought in Perez who’d just lost his seat to Vettel at Aston Martin. So Sainz went from McLaren to Ferrari. Vettel went from Ferrari to Aston. And Perez went from Aston to Red Bull.

Redbull doubled Ferraris points in the 2014 season.. redbul had 7 more podiums, and 3 of those were wins.. ferraris best was ONE 2nd place..., there is no world where Seb swapped because he saw that ferrari was better in 2014 because they werent. The simple explaination why he went to ferrari was that he wanted to emulate his hero michael schumacher and win a title with ferarri.. its as easy as that.

@@ZaumasWow Airgo, it’s what Vettel saw. Or they made a massive promise to him etc. because there’s no way he went to Ferrari for legacy alone 😂

@@gameofender4463 ofcourse he went to Ferrari mostly becuase of Michael?? Seb has even mentioned that Him and Michael used to talk about Ferrari ALOT during his Red bull stint when schumi was still around.
