@Timofey Kozyrev well they do have a similar pitch however the CS6 is 470hz where as a T-128 is a 500hz pitch. CS6 RPM times by port number divide 60 So 2820 times 10 divide 60 = 470hz
Awesome, a single tone Klaxon, if they were made they should make a rotating version of this siren, and it could be used as an air raid siren, tornado siren, or fire call siren, I love the sound of it! (Lots of text)
Not many of those exist either. Secomak ones are rare (I can think of 4 off the top of my head) but klaxon GP6s even more so- I only know of one or two.
It sounds like cs8 from carstairs junction in carstairs Scotland 1 shutter jammed open while the other is stuck closed try looking at the activation video by mrmattandmrchay.
0:35 Sounds like it is trying to pull off the cs8 escape tone but Cuz it only has one shutter it makes just a blocked noise XD Also how loud is that thing?
hyper the retro gamer That is the idea of it, it blocks the air going in so muffles the sound, it can then be used to signal. Works in exactly the same way as a CS8 but the CS6 is Single ended. With regards to the volume, it’s very loud indeed. Ear protection a must.
Still its cool to see another insanely old siren still working Most of them are gone and until now I have never seen or heard a cs6 :P I also like how it starts up
@@Sipex6484 It was a translation error. "Siren" often refers to a mermaid-like mythical creature, and I assume whatever program they used to translate that got it mixed up.
@@kansasstatealerting2424 It would only require wiring the solenoids to fire independantly, and setting the control box up correctly. In theory, the CS8s are capable of 6 basic signal types: Alert (steady), Attack (wail), Hi-Lo, Alternate Wail (Hi-Lo Wail), Pulse, and Pulse Wail.
