The Asia Foundation, supported by the Asian Development Bank, held the Second Learning Forum on the Implementation of the Social Accountability Framework (I-SAF) on 11 August 2017 in Cambodia.
Cambodia’s Social Accountability Framework policy is perhaps one of the first fully integrated public sector-civil society partnership programs using social accountability mechanisms to empower citizens in improving public service delivery. TAF is conducting a process review and research by looking into the implementation by both the government and civil society organizations to identify challenges and suggest recommendations for improvement. They presented their preliminary findings and gathered additional multi-stakeholder inputs at the forum.
