I would say early would be 1-2 weeks after receiving the secondary! Most of mine I was pre-writing during verification so when I got the secondary it was a quick turnaround and I just had to tweak a few things. Remember that you should prepare to write these 3 common essays and then have a response ready for every school you applied to. There’s no reason to not be proactive because you expect to receive a secondary from EVERY school you apply to!!

This video has been helpful. I'm really struggling with the diversity essay, but when asking my friends they all say I'm an "intense" person which is true. When it's time to do business or work, I do it and people know that and don't mess around. For example, I'm a leader of a club sports team, and I'm like the "serious" captain. Or when I do research, I'm a no-nonsense person sort of guy as I put 100% into everything and don't joke around as much. When I have conversations with people, I pull out my phone to google facts and to learn more about a topic. Is this something worth potentially discussing in a diversity essay or is it too edgy? Thanks for the video and I'm going to definitely be employing these ideas.

Hey man! Glad the video could be helpful to you. I would probably think this would be a little too edgy for this essay. I would recommend focusing more on your proactive attitude and mindset which is what it also looks like you’re describing! Best of luck!
