Loving your projects. You have a get er' done attitude. Expanded metal lath nailed onto the back slab would make your life 100 times easier. Have you ever seen those hardened concrete tacks? You hold them with a magnetic nail punch and hammer that lath right into the concrete backing. It is used a lot for real stucco. Your place is becoming a dream home with every project you complete. Wow!!!!!

I wanted to use the Closed Captioning (for the hearing adjourned, ha!), but it's only in Chinese. I am binge-watching your channel while I am home from work. Really like your attitude and approach to your projects, as well as your good-natured way of conveying the information. Great format! Also, I cannot believe the way this is coming out. What a great alternative to using actual stone, which would be astronomical in cost, frustrating to work with, and just generally not what I'd want to get involved in... All that said, I really hope my questions don't come off like criticism. Even if I'm just a cynic. (Sue me.) I live in a more humid climate, so maybe that's why this is on my mind: is it a concern at all that the faux foundation reduces airflow under the deck? I know you also have four seasons there (at least I think so), but maybe it doesn't matter as much if your area is more arid? Forgive me if any of that has been explained anywhere and I missed it. Been trying to watch in between family duties while I'm home. Sometimes I jump around the videos a bit. Really awesome stuff, sir. Thanks for posting your content. 👍👍👍👍

good questions. I am not rocking-in the end of the deck that faces the pool, because I'm gonna surround the pool with a deck extension, thus I'll have good air flow. In a climate like yours, you could easily incorporate some vents into the wire and then just fill around the vents with your freeform. I appreciate when people are engaged in my work enough to think about these things.
