As someone is an OSHC educator, I started the clap response and have to repeat it so kids can transition to group time and now we use it all the time at the service. Most of the time I have to repeat it at least once.
Absolutely. Though the biggest difference would be less piss and more vaping. And the endless arguing with students about why they haven’t submitted their drafts. Plus the fact that the seniors and the teachers share something in common - existential dread 😂.
Eerily accurate! I’ve been retired for 3 years and you managed to capture my 30 year teaching career in one minute 😂. Apparently I teach in my sleep: “Now, I’d like two lines!”
Nailed it. As a retired principal, totally agree with all of it, even the bit about the principal and country. I felt like Russia when dealing with some of my staff, parents and students.
Agreed as well as compulsory online training requirements, unit planning, assessment writing and new staff on teams. Not only that but using several different work apps to communicate is ridiculous
@@chantellenutes5435 yeah I’ve got three classes to mark this weekend one is drafting. I’ve had covers everyday this week because of camp and soon have not done any admin, planning or even lunch breaks. QLD doe only pays teachers five hours a day.

I'm a student teacher (🇿🇦) currently out at a school doing my practicals and they showed this video in the staff meeting yesterday morning. Didn't stop laughing for a second and everything was true 😂
The fact that as a teacher I can only travel during the most expensive and crowded times grinds my gears every year. It is definitely not something I thought about when choosing a career.
@jimmy Reese I used to watch giggle and hoot everyday growing up and I had the hoot toy. I used to say that I was going to go in giggle and hoot then im older just like jimmy giggle.

I'm too old to have experienced the claps as a student but I have been present when the kids have done it. This is yet another video that is absolutely on point.
Once you start secondary teaching in high school the students will test your patience as I have heard from a friend of mine who works in a high school.🧐
