Thanks as always for all the support and feedback... That is an excellent question... In all honesty, no, I've never had to deal with that, buttttttt since it is a shimano reel I think you just call the company (not Digitaka) and tell them you have an issue, then they send you a form, you have to pay for shipping, and they will fix whatever the issue is and send it back from one of their offices in the United States. I have dealt with shimano before with reel repairs, but never Digitaka... Excellent question though! I would assume shimano would still take / repair your reel regardless of where you bought it, but I haven't sent a reel in for repair in quite a while. Credit to shimano reels I guess. haha... Digitaka is a legitimate company so you wont get any "scam orders," however, the company does have email and call numbers (I'd email since theyre in Japan) if you had any issues with the gear or shipping. I've ordered a number of items from them and its amazing how efficient they are at getting you your gear. To your point though, yes, there are a lot of scammer webpages for fishing gear, which is why I wanted to make a video about Digitaka and how efficient and awesome they are at saving you money! Hey Bobby... thanks so much for watching... No no... That's the best part! In the video I explain how Digitaka gets you the gear in 4 - 5 days. I ordered one real on Monday and had it at my door on Thursday night!! Its really an amazing company. I don't know how they do it... but they do it. Its great!
