Thank you for this review, I had just set up my Titan Evo XL. I had also thought it was firmer than I had thought it would be, so your comments about the firmness made a lot of sense.
I've been looking at Secret Lab chairs for a while now. I think now is the time to finally make the jump due to my PU Leather chair falling apart after 5 years of use. Fabric Weave, here I come!
The problem with skate wheels is that they add an inch of height to the chair. This isn't a problem if you are 6ft+ tall, but it is a problem for ergonomics if you are shorter. With skate wheels, I can't find a single chair that will allow me to maintain a 90 degree angle at my knees. I am 5ft 9in (173cm) and I work from home and don't wear shoes. It seems like everyone reviewing chairs on RU-vid is the height of an NBA player.
There is 6 of us all working form home in Australia @ $730 X 6 then I have to use Zip to pay for them or $899 X 6 to use a credit card......NO WAY at this price

You got lucky! I did mine about 4 weeks ago and mine shipped. Would've been nice if they announced it way earlier instead of surprising everyone. Would have rather got the updated model instead of the 2020 version.
I just got my Titan Evo 2022 a month or so ago and I absolutely love it. I was coming from a 5+ year old DX Racer and the Evo is a huge upgrade and I am so happy that I decided to get it. Love your videos, keep up the good work.

Let me get this straight…. You’re 6’-8” and they sent you a Regular size chair? Why not the XL? I’m 5’-19” and 370 lbs, so I will be getting the XL, but haven’t decided on the Cloth or PU version.

I'm waiting for the warranty team currently to help me fix the terrible noises coming from the backrest. Totally know what you mean about the hardness though, my back is certainly happier than my ears.
Well I just ordered the Evo 2022 Cyberpunk 2077 edition. I can't wait to try out the lumbar support as that is the main feature I want. I paid £280 for a full mesh office chair last year when I started working from home and the lumbar support isn't adjustable, and it's set a few inches too high, and it's started giving me a numb backside after a while. I'm hoping the Secretlabs chair will suit me better. I had Sciatica and severe, sometimes debilitatingly agonizing back pain for 10 years. I can't justify £1200 for a Herman Miller, so I hope this is the next best option.

This was incredibly informative and VERY well timed as my inexpensive POS chair just collapsed and threw my over backwards this evening. I think I'm going to give a titan a shot. Glad to have found a new youtuber that I think I can place my trust in, too!
Never comment on youtube videos but have to say I appreciate the fact that you don't even share an affiliate link. When I was thinking about buying a secretlab chair last year I watched too many videos of people proudly claiming they're not sponsored but still sharing their affiliate link, meaning there was still an incentive to make the chair sound good so people buy it through them. Only you and a couple of others I could trust to give an honest opinion and in the end I got an omega which I loved. Will probably end up getting this too as it would be nice to have the extra room on the sides and built in lumbar support. Life story aside, you got a like and subscription from me.
Over the weekend, I returned a very poorly made chair that I'd bought and went out online in search of a good chair that's well made and comfortable. I read a few reviews and narrowed my list down and then went to the websites for a few of the manufacturers. I was very impressed with the information on the Secret Lab website and the fact they had several different videos and even one for assembly I think. What helped me make up my mind was that they offered 3 sizes including small (I'm 5'2) AND had a full chart of all the sizes for various parts of the chair, for each size chair. I was able to work out that the seat will be wide enough for me while the height will allow me to actually have my feet on the floor (which will be a novel experience for me). I bought the small pink weave chair and it should be here by Friday. I can't wait! The ODD thing is that I watch a lot of videos on RU-vid but it never crossed my mind to look for chair reviews. But suddenly the great YT algorithm is showing me lots of videos I probably maybe should have watched first. I spent hours studying the Evo 2022 though, and I think I made a good decision. I'll find out on Friday or Saturday if it was a great one or not. Cheers!
The chair has been a dream. It fits me perfectly and my posture at my desk has improved dramatically. This has probably been my best improvement I’ve made in 2021 for both my well being and my productivity.

Excellent review. I would have done the same for my titan XL 2020. This videos makes me want to buy a 2022 model but ... My titan XL is still so much in shape and pristine condition that I can not even imagine changing it ^^ The new additions are really SEXY, the lombard support really is something that I'd love to try. And the new customisable armrests : reeeeeeally sweet. The only negative would be the wheels. They could get better.
Hello Stu, I'm 6 feet 7,5 inches 😉 tall and have the same body shape as you. How do you feel in this Evo 2022 for your 6 feet 8 inches height? This is ultimately sufficient? Do you think the XL 2022 would be better for you? Thank you. Thomas
Great review Stu! And the funny thing is, you showed the old IKEA chair, I have the exact same one here! It is noisy, the leather is now falling all around the room and it just had it's best time.. I don't even know when I bought it, but it's definitely more than 5 years. And since I work in IT and work from home still quite often (and have a bad back) I am really looking forward to see mine come in, hence I just bought one with a nice discount, for a total of €333(the G2 Titan Evo regular leatherette). I am 6"4 and weigh about 72kg and chose the regular just for better support I guess. Hopefully I made the right decision in both chair and the size. I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black. The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck

Guys for anybody wondering if you should buy it, I have had it since summer of 2021, I got the BLACK3 fabric chair, it feels great but it took a little bit to break into, it is very squeaky though but SL is sending me a replacement part so Ill keep yall updated. But for now, if you got the budget, buy it.
Sorry, maybe It´s me... but after watching the video, it´s not clear what kind of Titan Evo model did you choose... You said (I had to lurk into the video to find it) that your height is 6´8"? but what is the model that you chosen to this review, the regular, or the XL? don´t you think that probably could be a better presentation start saying clearly how tall you are, and which model did you test to help us out to have a reference? Had to watch twice the video, and stop the image at the unboxing, to realize that it´s the "regular" (you don´t mention anything about it during all the review), this is even more important because Secretlabs mentions that above 189 cm tall (6´2"), people might choose the XL, which is not completely true because you can be taller than this, and fit perfectly at the regular size (for what it looks at your video), but at the same time, you can be tall, as much as Secretlabs advices, or even taller, and WIDER, and then you´d need the XL size. That´s the real point of the XL size. So, and sorry for the long text, to be clear... what was your choice, and did it fit you well? XL or regular size? what´s your height? All and all, it was a nice review ;)
Thanks for the video, I wonder if you ever got the XL version of this specific chair? is it better suited for a 6'8'' guy like you and me? (although I am a little wider than you, I'm about 280 pounds, not sure how much you weigh but from the video, you look a bit slender than me.) I'm in the market for a chair that I can use in my home office to work and game a bit after work, I also like to lounge on it while watching youtube videos, and I don't want to pay $1000 plus, lol, so this is in the short list...
When I built my gaming setup a year ago, I didn’t know what a good vs bad chair was. Now I’m year+ into this $150 GTRacing chair and it is garbage. So uncomfortable. I def plan on upgrading to the secret lab titan evo xl.
I AM BUYING AN XL IN APRIL, GETTING A DESIGNED ONE, HAVENT DECIDED IF IM GETTING SUPERMAN, BATMAN, OR THE WITCHER. TOUGH CHOICES !!! There's a mysterious nob on the other side of this chair and I'm not talking about myself 😂 Thanks for this review & the laugh, I'm doing my best to research this chair because I'm considering purchasing it but I'm worried about the price vs the quality/comfort. My only doubt is the overall padding on the bottom part where you sit as I have seen other reviews talking about how it's too firm/hard and after long hours of sitting in it that they can feel the metal underneath digging into them...Worried about spending this much on the chair only to be disappointed with something like that as I'm trying to fix my posture for the better not the worse lol Would you recommend it?
How comfortable is this truly? Just curious. I have a chair that I can't sit in for longer than 1 hour without my rear end hurting. I just don't want to buy this for the price range and end up with just as uncomfortable a chair on the rear end. thanks.
Anda Seat is advertising a magnetic tabletop that will go over the armrests. I would LOVE to see Secret Labs do something like that since the armrests have the magnets built in already. I would totally be onboard for that additional perk.
I bought mine on 2019. Firstday i got it , i have issue with arm rest, with them not balanced one slightly higher. They replied me "as this is hand assemble , this issue is common and is indeed normal" thn they launched improved ver fixing the arm rest , well done . I'm not enjoying it since the first day , and thn my chair tore so badly in less thn a year , yea... Seeing they improved a lot is a good thing , but a lot of concern will i buy new "improved" version of their chair again? Im not really sure. Anyone wanna give me a opinion ? Shud i try them again ? Since mine are so shit now , planning to get msi's or any other brand
I really like to think this review is authentic but I dunno... I own the 2020 and it's a good chair - nothing more. I know some decent office chairs that are more comfortable than the Titan. The back support isn't that great since it's just a lump in the back and not proper support. same for the head, unlike some chairs that can stretch out proper head support. It drives me nuts that I can't lean back and let the chair change the angle to support my back - I always need to use the side handle for it. It's just a good stylish chair.
It's awesome that they charge that kind of money for that chair but still ship with casters that are available on chairs that cost a 1/3 of the price! Now that's value!
Does anyone know where I can test these chairs in the UK? According to them I would need a small but I feel like I need to have a sit on both the small and the regular to be 100% sure.
I bought a secret labs chair a few months ago after watching your 9 months review and I absolutely love it 🥰 I does become a little hot to sit in my soft weave but then again we have had some hot days here in DK ;)

This company clearly does a great job providing free product to RU-vidrs to hype it because it's the least comfortable chair I have ever sat in. The seat cushion is less comfortable than a wooden kitchen chair. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. If you don't like it they will try to gouge you for a huge return fee. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. You have been warned.
Been looking at these chairs for about a year. Kept pushing it off because I was in the process of looking for a house. Now that I have a house, I about bought a Titan XL last week when I was drunk. Glad I wasn't able to finish out the order, because I was drunk. Ordered a Titan XL EVO today. Hopefully it comes soon. They had all sorts of warning about high volume of sales and to please be patient.
Update: They’ve shipped my chair. Said it was to be delivered on the 13th but I think that was an error on the shipping company. I’ve never had good luck with their “tracking” of my packages. Will update on delivery and if anything else happens.
Hi, what can you say about the new foam? Is the foam more comfortable and softer than before? And one other question. What do you prefer Softweave or HybridLeather? Is in your opinion there any difference in comfort?
Please do a update on this. I am so close to pulling the trigger on a Titan XL but cant bring myself to spend 2 weeks rent on a chair. My current chair is falling apart so I need to do something but cant decide.
