I have enjoyed your tutorials for some years now, since I got an iPhone 11. Your joy of photography is contagious. Now I just got an iPhone 14 PM and the camera on that phone is like a magical journey and I want to learn as much as possible. I would like to shoot the absolute best possible full moon photos and I’m curious about the telescope lenses for iPhones. Is there one in particular you’d recommend? Night Mode is available on the iPhone 11 and later. However, you can use third party apps like ProCam8 or Slow Shutter Cam app to take long exposure with your iPhone 8 :)

I’m also using 12 pro max but in low light photography some times telephoto is not working properly it uses digital zoom instead of optical zoom by primary camera what is a solution for that I’m also an photographer

Try using Night Mode or a third party app (Like ProCam8) to take the photo. The issue is that your telephoto lens does not let in much light and therefore, the iPhone switches automatically to the wide lens and zooms in to let in more light into the sensor.

iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 2.5x lens.

On the 14 Pro (and I assume Pro Max) you can touch and hold the 2x button, and a dial will appear. You can scroll the dial to other settings. You can do the same on the other buttons, too. Hope this helps.

It has nothing to do with whether Samsung or iPhone is better! It is to do with the person who is taking the photo who knows how to use those mobile phones camera settings. Why aren’t you teaching Samsung photography if you think you know it all?
