I'm at georgia tech it's a really good engineering school. And I had in-state tuition so it is a no brainer choice! I also got in to berkeley and caltech but it is too expensive so not worth it for similar prestige
I've been to silicon valley. The parents complain that their kids can't get into Berkeley because it's soo competitive. It's easier to get in out of state to Berkeley than in state to Berkeley.
Yes you are right that it is tough to get into Berkeley. But kids of some friends of mine recently did get in. The problem is in getting the departments you want. And after getting in life is very tough
But yeah this list is top tier. we have no chance of making it actually to those universities. Most of the people from China ususally go to other tier universities like "IIT" illinois institute of technology. NJIT UT Dallas Arizona State and all.

I mostly try to guide people through general content. I will make specific videos on universities for different fields in future. For commerce graduates, data analysis degrees in the business and management departments are the best option. Work experience is good but not always needed for degrees. High chances in China and South Korea. Profs in these countries are well funded and can give scholarships to foreign students. Also Russia and the former soviet republics including Kazhakstan, Armenia, etc. along with Mexico, Brazil and South Africa. But you may need to be careful in some of these countries.
