Thanks Michelle! Yes there was, and the guest host can help you with that in the lobby. We never left the resort though. We were having too much fun relaxing :)

I'm sorry it's been several years since we have been. I'm 90% sure it is ramp friendly. Most everything else was ranch level, there was not a lot of building with multiple levels.

Great question. All depends what you're looking for. The preferred is far more relaxed and quiet. The other pool has more bars, and more going on/ppl to hang out with. Honeslty it's just nice to have options :)

It was a really good temp. We took about 50-75 dollars in 1's and gave them out periodically for the week we were there. But tips are not required or expected.

They encourage you when you get there, that you do not need to tip. You can if you want. But it’s not expected. Because we were preferred members. We were giving a personal Butler, we tipped him about $80 on the last day. Again, this was all recommended by the concierge.

We brought $1s and $5s, and generally gave $1 for each drink, then $5-10 for the server at dinner, and $5 for more complicated drinks and for stuff like taking suitcases to/from the room, etc. We used US cash, and it wasn't an issue (no currency exchange needed). We didn't get a "do tip" or "don't tip" instruction from the concierge, and I wouldn't judge anyone for not tipping. I'm sure we didn't do it 100% of the time, either, because they are diligent in making sure you always have a topped-up drink in your hand.

Correct - and technically tipping is up to your discretion.

@Vanheer Adventures thanks for your reply. I believe all the swim ups are sold out thats why there not showing on the web site. Ive book a preferred tropical view, thats all the preferred they had left. Any idea if you can book a bali bed on the beach before you arrive?Cheers

To be honest I can't remember. We only used the personal pool we had attached to our room at night. Another reason we recommend booking with the preferred club.

I was just there in March 2023, and the pools close at 7 PM. I'm not sure how aggressively they enforce that, but the entire place shifts to "dinner mode" around 5:30 every day, and the pools go from packed to sparse to empty.

Weather was fantastic for us. We did howerver visit in Septmeber.

Just got back (March 2023), and it was 80-83°F every day (though extraordinarily hot in the sun), with brief rain in the forecast a few of the days, but that rain never came. Warm, but not uncomfortably so, nights.

Yes, I believe so - but nothing over the top.

As of March 2023, the large pool has "beach-y" music all day, then with live musicians for a portion of each day. The "preferred" pool has lounge-y electronic music. It's not excessively loud at either pool, though as the days get later (and the drinks get more numerous), both pools get louder, though not necessarily rowdy by any means.

We did not, but we also went during covid (aka 25% occupancy)

As of March 2023, the Hibachi "experience" at the Japanese restaurant 100% needs a reservation (the "regular" seating at the Japanese doesn't need a reservation, but there may be a wait). The other restaurants get quite busy, and we had to wait ~45 minutes (French, Italian), which, if you have "preferred," your butler can arranged a timed spot for you if you'd rather not add your name to a list and wait.

Having just gotten back, I'd also definitely recommend it. If there's a deal on a "preferred" room, do it. I'm not entirely sure it's worth the money, but if you're splurging, you might as well splurge. I went from Wednesday (arrived in the evening) to Sunday (left around 11 AM), so 3 full days and 2 partial days, and, for me, it was just about the right amount of time, though I wouldn't have minded a 4th full day, but I'd start looking at excursions on a 5th day. That's more a statement on my interest in a "sit at the pool/beach all day with nothing to worry about except where to eat dinner" vacation than the resort itself. If you're looking for more than "relax at the pool/beach all day, every day," there isn't a ton more to do than that on-premises (but it's REALLY good for that). They had beach and pool sports each day, but they struggled to get enough participation (we did "home run derby" instead of "baseball," for example, because we could only get 4 people for beach baseball) for most events because most people going there are relax all day... which is A-OK for a place like this.
